Despite his distinguished name, Sir Ramble Brambleton is nothing but a big ole derpy puppy who absolutely loves his friends, 4 legged and two, and just wants to play, have some fun, eat some snacks and get lots cuddles. Sir Rambles has spent much of his puppyhood growing up in the shelter but he is a smart boy and hasn`t let that stop him from learning some great behaviors. He is a loose leash walker when he strolls around the shetler grounds and has mastered sit and down. Food is one of Sir Ramble Bramblton`s favorite things which make him a great candidate for learning lots of other great tricks and behaviors with a little snack encouragement. Speaking of favorite things, are you a fan of cuddles and kisses? Because those are two things which Sir Ramble Brambleton excels at! You can literally see his eyes light up and his tail go into turbo speed mode when he sees his friends approaching him. All he wants to do is get as close to you as possible so he can be in the ultimate scratch and cuddle zone. He will happily repay you for your attention by giving you all the loving kisses you could want. Sir Rambles is a dog who just radiates joy and happiness and puts a smile on all of his friends` faces when they are around him. Story
Sunny Sides, a Basset Hound mix, was found tied to a fence at an apartment complex and though she had a microchip, the person it was registered to did not want her back. So, we took her in to our vet to be given basic veterinary care, along with having her evaluated for a suspected urinary tract infection. She was having to go potty constantly, and there was blood present. Our vet did an x-ray and the reason for her discomfort and frequent urination became apparent. This poor senior’s bladder was absolutely full or bladder stones! We raised the funds for this very necessary surgery, and numerous bladder stones were removed. Throughout it all Sunny Sides, who is around 12 years old, has been a complete sweetheart and a very easy going foster. She gets along with all the dogs her foster mom has of various ages and sizes, and she doesn’t have any issues with cats. She will need to remain on a prescription urinary diet for the rest of her life, but she is otherwise completely healthy and ready to find a forever that really means forever. Her foster mom named her Sunny Sides because of her positive disposition-she looks at the sunny side of things and she deserves a sunny side of life from here on out. Austin metro, TX area adoptions preferred. Her adoption fee includes vet exam, vaccines, medications, and microchip.
