This pint sized cutie looks like somebody took a walker and shrunk him down, and the result is simply adorable with a perpetual puppy look! Travis is such a sweet boy who always wants to know what's going on and who's got the best treats. He's learning what it means to be a house dog and he's healing from some rough skin with good nutrition and medical care. He definitely needs canine siblings for entertainment and he's still learning that being left alone doesn't mean torture, but he's getting there! **This dog is heartworm positive and will be treated by the rescue and will be available for foster to adopt for a local family in or near Charleston, SC that is comfortable with the restriction requirements for the duration of treatment. Meet our adoptable dog, Boomer! Boomer is a 3 year old Foxhound/Tree Walker Coonhound. He is about 57lbs. Sweet Boomer has never know what it’s like to get to be a regular dog, he was used strictly as a hunting dog and when not on a hunt he lived his life in a cage. Since being in the rescue he has started learning how to be a loving pet! He’s learning how to play and show affection for people and has just been a good boy all around. What his fosters say about him: He loves cuddling on the couch and going for walks. He does good with most dogs, just needs a calm introduction. He’s okay with cats but would NOT recommend a home with them. He loves tug of war, he also likes to play ball but is a little confused about the concept of it. In big settings he can be a little nervous. He is a very sweet boy who needs someone who is willing to be patient and help him learn the ropes of being a loving pet. Boomer is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. Please consider giving this sweet boy his forever home!
