Georgie was found as a stray and taken to a high kill dog pound in West Virginia... Pet Search was contacted and asked if we could rescue him, which we happily did! Georgie is a 7 year old treeing walker coonhound weighing around 55 pounds. He is very lovable and playful and would do well with a family that has older children because of his size. Georgie is housebroken and crate trained but needs to get acclimated to a new schedule. He is fine with larger dogs but has not been cat tested Georgie is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. Elmer, AKA Fudder Dudder, is not only a Tree-walker hound through and through but is a purebred good boy!!He is neutered and pretty well house broken. He is approximately 60 pounds and approximately 2.5-3 years old. In true hound fashion he is always on the hunt for snacks. Elmers favorite room in the house is the kitchen. He will ask you to share and will check what you are cooking. He does play with toys and enjoys chewing on bones. Elmer is good with other dogs that are medium/large. He is crate trained too. He is good with kids! Very sweet boy, with big floppy velvety ears. He enjoys walks, great on leash. Elmers nose is always sniffing like a hound is bred to do. He is good on a tie out, but would love a fenced yard to do all the hound things. He gives big awoooos like a hound should.
