Around 60 pounds of love and sweetness, Kahlua lives for sunshine, breezes, rustling leaves, and long, thoughtful walks. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t rush through life—he notices everything, appreciates the little things, and reminds you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Kahlua has impeccable manners. Need to tie your shoe? He’ll stop and wait. Collar slips off? He’ll walk right over so you can fix it. He listens beautifully and truly wants to please his person. He also has a fun side—he loves squeaky toys, playing fetch (sharing the ball is a work in progress!), giving kisses, and being tucked in under cozy blankets like the pampered hound he is. This boy is also a lake and boat enthusiast—a true water bug who will happily join you for every lakeside adventure. Copper is a very good dog and we are devastated that we need to surrender him. He’s very lazy most of the time but enjoys running around outside when given the opportunity to play with kids and/or other dogs. He’s great with children of all ages as well as other pets and chickens. He responds to his name when called, is crate and house trained, knows a few small tricks. We only hope he goes to a very loving home with a family who will take good care of him. It would be great if we’d be able to hear from his new family with updates but it’s not expected.
