Willa and Watson (siblings) came from the Brookhaven pound. We saw them on Face Book. The Brookhaven pound was going to put these puppies down because they were so shy. They couldn’t find a rescue group to take them. We decided to help them. They are super sweet, but they are very shy. Walter is not as shy as Willa. They feel very comfortable in their environment, but when taken to the vet, they do get nervous. They do respond to love, but they need somebody that will spend time with them. Because we are so overcrowded, they have never had an opportunity to live in the house. They were heavily bonded at the foster’s house, and they loved to play together. The foster did not spend any time with them, but the children played with them some in the fenced in area. They play well with other dogs, but they have never been around cats. Since they have been at Blue Ribbon Kennels, they have been in separate kennels for the past 13 months. They both need a special home with somebody that will spend a lot of time loving them, giving them a lot of attention and being patient with them. Please help Watson, and maybe even consider adopting both of them! Willa and Watson are in Mississippi. Rescue Rides is a very reliable pet transport and will transport Watson to his new home. This is included in the adoption fee.

After getting the care he needed, Bucky waited patiently for a family to fall in love with him - but that family never came. He was tested with cats and seemed OK but he does not currently live with any cats. He has lived with children in his foster homes. He is housebroken in his current foster home. He is working on crate training. Bandit would benefit from having another dog in the house as a companion and a playmate. Being deaf does not seem to be a challenge for him at all. It will require some accommodations from his owner on building a system of commands and figuring out how to best communicate with him. At this time, he does not know any sign language.
