Buford is a 7 year old Treeing Walker Coon Hound. He is looking for a new home due to not getting along with the other dog in the home. Buford is a really good guy. He likes all people, enjoys car and boat rides. He’s happy to just lay on the couch and watch TV with his people. He knows how to sit, come and wait. He is very trainable. He is completely housebroken and can be trusted by himself alone in the house for hours. He is a treeing walker coon hound who does not howl. He needs be the only dog in the home and no cats for this guy. He has a strong prey drive. Buford is almost 7 years old. He is neutered and up to date on his vetting. Willa and Watson (siblings) came from the Brookhaven pound. We saw them on Face Book. The Brookhaven pound was going to put these puppies down because they were so shy. They couldn’t find a rescue group to take them. We decided to help them. They are super sweet, but they are very shy. Walter is not as shy as Willa. They feel very comfortable in their environment, but when taken to the vet, they do get nervous. They do respond to love, but they need somebody that will spend time with them. Because we are so overcrowded, they have never had an opportunity to live in the house. They were heavily bonded at the foster’s house, and they loved to play together. The foster did not spend any time with them, but the children played with them some in the fenced in area. They play well with other dogs, but they have never been around cats. Since they have been at Blue Ribbon Kennels, they have been in separate kennels for the past 13 months. They both need a special home with somebody that will spend a lot of time loving them, giving them a lot of attention and being patient with them. Plese help Willa, and maybe even consider adopting both of them! Willa and Watson are in Mississippi. Rescue Riders is a very reliable pet transport and will transport Willa to her new home. This is included in the adoption fee
