Story

Willa and Watson (siblings) came from the Brookhaven pound. We saw them on Face Book. The Brookhaven pound was going to put these puppies down because they were so shy. They couldn’t find a rescue group to take them. We decided to help them. They are super sweet, but they are very shy. Walter is not as shy as Willa. They feel very comfortable in their environment, but when taken to the vet, they do get nervous. They do respond to love, but they need somebody that will spend time with them. Because we are so overcrowded, they have never had an opportunity to live in the house. They were heavily bonded at the foster’s house, and they loved to play together. The foster did not spend any time with them, but the children played with them some in the fenced in area. They play well with other dogs, but they have never been around cats. Since they have been at Blue Ribbon Kennels, they have been in separate kennels for the past 13 months. They both need a special home with somebody that will spend a lot of time loving them, giving them a lot of attention and being patient with them. Plese help Willa, and maybe even consider adopting both of them! Willa and Watson are in Mississippi. Rescue Riders is a very reliable pet transport and will transport Willa to her new home. This is included in the adoption fee.

I'm shy at first but will warm up quickly if you give me some yummy chicken. Cars and new sounds can be a little scary for me too, so I'll need someone to help introduce me to new things and show me all the great things in life! My favorite thing to do is play soccer - kick the ball for me and watch me (and my ears) bounce with excitement! I also love sniffing and exploring the trails here at FOHA.
