Hubie Brown is named after the longtime NBA coach who recently retired this year after over 50 years and two Coach of the Year awards.  Hubie is about 8-9 months old and a Treeing Coonhound mix. He’s an absolute love bug with people and great with all other dogs! Hubie is looking to join a family with at least one other adult dog in the home so he can continue learning everything he needs to know to grow into the amazing adult dog we know he is destined to be! Introducing Explorer! He was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 3/20. Explorer is 6 years old and weighs in at 30 pounds. He is incredibly sweet and just as shy. He loves to be outside sniffing all that he can. Wouldn't you like to wake up to that face every morning? Ask for ID# 17683 Run 314. He will be neutered soon and micro-chipped. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
