WONDERFUL, QUIET 4 YEAR OLD HOUND MIXAll dogs are located in foster homes in southeast Arizona, between Benson and Willcox just off Interstate 10. It is approximately 2 1/2 hours from the Phoenix area or 1 hour east of Tucson. Tripoint is approximately 4 years old and weighs 48 pounds. Poor Tripoint was so scared after being left in a metal for animal control to pick up. Poor Tripoint did not have a lot of hope. Then someone brought in a hot dog, and he became everybody's best friend. This is one of the rescue's favorite dogs. It is amazing to see the wonderful transformation. Tripoint moved right into his foster home, sleeps near the foster's bed and has incredible house manners. He is housebroken and dog door trained. Tripoint is a wonderful boy that will be a great addition to any family. Please come meet this wonderful boy and give him the best years of his life. Hi, my name is Seltzer! Are you looking for the ultimate cuddle master? Well look no further, here I am! I love getting lots of snuggles, pets, and affection from my people. I`m quite the social boy, I get along well with almost anyone I meet. When I`m happy to see you, I have the best wiggle butt! I may not mind living with another dog, but I would like to meet them at the shelter first. Going on walks and training would be a great way for us to bond together. Story
Sky is a friendly, wiggly girl once she gets to know you. She is scared and nervous in this new enviroment. She came from a home with many dogs and is unsocialized. It may take her a few visits before she is comfortable with you. She still needs to learn all normal dog things, commands, leash and potty training. While she lived with other dogs we don`t know how she`ll be with your dog. She is unsure and nervous with the dogs here. She seems to do best with a friendly, calm dog. A meet and greet is required with your dog before adoption.Since she isn`t leash trained and is nervous she needs to go to a home with a tall secure fenced yard. Please ask to meet her outside.

Story
I`m a small and petite little guy probably weighing in around 25 lbs. I got my name because unfortunately I was in an accident and lost a leg. Even though I am down a leg I don`t let it hold me back or slow me down! One of my `shelter moms` owns two tripods and she has assured me that they can do just about anything a 4 legged friend could do. She does recommend joint supplements just to help me stay big and strong!I can be a little shy at first and might come around easier with a friend!

These pups are in Scottsdale, Arizona too!

Story
My name is Penelope, and I am the sweetest, friendliest, most outgoing “BeagleBull” you might ever meet! Yes, BeagleBull is a thing. I came to Forever Loved from the county after being found as a stray, and it was truly in the nick of time. I had severe anemia, I was very underweight, and I had a huge mass hanging that made everyone cringe. I received all the loving care that a sick girl could wish for and here I am, ready for my forever home! I am 11 years old (but I play ball like a puppy) and I now weight 32.8 lbs. Besides great medical care and lots of loving from the volunteers, I’ve also gotten the best post-operative care in my foster home. I am reliably house trained, I ride well in the car, I walk quite nicely on the leash, and I have very nice house manners. I love to snuggle up on my blanket or bed, and you’ll barely hear a peep from me. I love stuffy toys to pieces, literally, so I need tough chew toys, but I have a tennis ball that is a favorite and I sleep with it, carry it, and love to play fetch and “keep away.” I am great with kids! I don’t jump up, and I display a very nice confidence around novel things. I’ve not had much experience around other dogs, they kind of scare me a bit, but I don’t “lose it” when they pass by. If a stranger dog on a walk comes too close, I will bark to let them know I’m not comfortable in that moment. My foster mom moves me off the path of the incoming dog and helps me feel safe and comfortable. I’m learning very fast! I think it’s fair to say I am easy to have around, and there hasn’t been any handling that I haven’t been a champ at! Please apply to meet me, I’m so grateful that the rest of my life will be the best of my life - with you!

Story
Please read bio carefully to make sure you are a match for this boy: Meet Rex. He’s a stunning 2-year-old (soon to be 3) purebred Bassett Hound. When he’s not napping he loves to play with his toys, go on walks, fetch, and bask in the sunshine. Rex is great with other dogs that he encounters on walks or in a structured play environment. He has been near cats with little to no reaction. Rex is house/doggy door trained, is great on the leash, and enjoys his crate/“place”. As a bonus, he rarely barks, and doesn’t do much shedding, licking, or slobbering. Rex is unable to be placed in a home with small children. He needs a balanced, more predictable environment and humans who provide strong leadership. He is microchipped and up to date on shots/vaccines We will only adopt him into an adult only home. No small children or visiting grandkids. Rex is very healthy and has been neutered and has recent bloodwork. If you are interested in meeting this very special boy. Please fill out an application on our homepage, www.luckydogrescue.org. The application is under his bio. His adoption fee is $450

Story
Black and Tan Coonhound sweet boy!All dogs are located in south east Arizona, between Benson and Willcox, just south of Interstate 10. Appointments for meets can be scheduled with Carrie at 602-316-8919 or fedwellfarm@yahoo.com. Boone is a 9 year old smaller Black and Tan Coonhound mix.  He only weighs in at 55 pounds. Boone is a quiet boy!  He is very sweet and gets alone with the other dogs in his foster moms home!  He has very nice house manners! Boone would be a great companion for hiking, biking, walking or even snuggling on the sofa.  Boone has the potential of being a good apartment dog as well. Boone was found as a stray in the Phoenix area and when no one came to claim him, Fedwell Farm jumped at the opportunity to help a hound in need.  We love our hounds! Please come meet this wonderful, gorgeous boy! 602-316-8919  January 12, 2025, 2:55 am
