Story
My name is Josie and I am a little 5 lb Toy Poodle Princess who is only 3 years old and being forced to  look for a new forever home. Last year I sat under a Christmas tree that I had helped to decorate and now I'm looking for a new Christmas tree to spend my time under this coming year. You see it's the age old excuse that happens all the time. Young couple gets a little dog to be their 'baby' and then along comes the 'real' human baby and out the door we go. Mom seems to think that I might nip at her 2-year-old that is now toddling around and grabbing at me and probably not in the most gentle way. I really don't mind but then again maybe it is best that I go where I'm the number one or can share the number one spot with someone that doesn't expect me to bite at a small child. I am full of life and energy and I love to chase any type of ball that you throw. I have a great future and long life ahead of me, but it needs to be with people that don't make excuses to get rid of me. I am loving and I'm housebroken and I am a beautiful little Princess. May I come and help you decorate your Christmas tree this year? Just contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. I'm ready to get on the transport van coming northward as I am in Tennessee right now. They have a special crate waiting for me on the van as long as I have a special family waiting up north on the other end to pick me up.        October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Loki is the most loving dog you will ever have pleasure of knowing...... for his people. He was adopted at approx 2 years old with unknown history but he clearly had a rough start. I don't know if he was abused or just horribly neglected but he was 1 of many dogs from a single household. He has extreme anxiety when alone and desperately tries to "protect" his family when around unknown dogs and people. He pulls terribly on leash and lunges at other dogs/people during walks. Loki is wonderful with the 7 year and older adult in home but even at small size must be walked by a adult with no balance issues due to pulling. He is housetrained completely but uses what he has to punish when he is left alone. He has had absolutely no physical abuse or neglect in last 2.5 years but still exhibits a lot of anxiety. We had a second dog for over a year and they got along perfectly but unknown if he will be good with other dogs. We would love to visit his new home.

Story
This handsome Eskimo/Heeler mix boy is called Spock and he is a charming  2 year old that is a perfect size at just 45 pounds.  This special, young dog was found as a stray and the lady who found him adored his unique look and wonderful personality.  But sadly this loving rescue lady has had to admit that her health is just not stable enough to give him a long term life and home with her.  She is sacrificing this sweet boy to give him a chance at a forever home that will give him a great life for the next 10+ years.  Spock is very smart, alert, affectionate, loyal and fun dog to have around.  Due to the blend of breeds, he is called an Aussimo – a good mixture of both breeds.  He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a true cuddle buddy. Spock is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, HW prevention, microchipped and a healthy boy.  He is good with children and gets along nicely  with other dogs.  This stunning boy is ready today for his forever home. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 31, 2024, 2:39 pm
