I love long walks, a warm bed & good food. I’m a really good girl & try hard to learn all the house rules. I love being with my foster siblings but wish they were a bit more playful. Maybe your dogs will want to play! I will make a perfect human companion & BEST dog sister. And now, a few words from my foster mom: Suzy is correct, she would make a perfect addition to a home with a somewhat playful dog. She’s a typical young dog and enjoys romping outdoors & going for walks. She has this super cute way of leaping & turning in circles, when she gets excited! When it comes to human touch, Suzy’s still a bit shy but delights in giving her humans quick little dog kisses (licks). She is learning to trust her people & allows us to pick her up & really enjoys sleeping with us. She doesn’t like to be alone but is learning to settle when we have to leave her. She is so excited when we return! Suzy’s been quick to learn her name, walking on a leash & is beginning to engage with toys. She’s very interested in her environment. Stair climbing & toilet training are well underway but needs encouragement & a companion dog, to show her the way. Suzy would do best in a home with a patient family who is willing to continue her training & a relatively young, calm, yet playful dog companion. She will also need a securely fenced yard to continue her house training and have a safe play area. Questions? My journey to find a loving home hasn’t been easy. I was rescued from a place that pretended to rehome pets but was actually a harmful environment where dogs were mistreated. Thankfully, I’m now safe and ready to find my real forever family, where I can give all the love I have! 👫My Social Side❤️ I’m a friendly little girl who loves people! I’m happy to approach both familiar faces and strangers, nudging them for pets and affection. I might be a little shy at first, but if you offer me a treat, I’ll warm up quickly and let you pet me all you want! I’m gentle and enjoy a good cuddle—especially after a nice walk or playtime. I might have a touch of separation anxiety, so I really appreciate having company as much as possible. I’m very sociable with other dogs and enjoy saying hello to both new and familiar furry friends.
