*CLOVER HAS BILATERAL STIFLE, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE APPLYING FOR HER. This tiny three-pound bundle of joy is here to prove that big love comes in the smallest packages! Clover is a seven-month-old toy poodle princess who walks to the beat of her own drum — literally. Born with a genetic deformity in both rear knees called deformed stifles, Clover has a signature little waddle that honestly just makes her more endearing. Think of it as her signature strut! It doesn’t slow her down, dampen her spirit, or stop her from living her absolute best life. Clover is brilliantly smart, insatiably curious, and overflowing with affection for anyone lucky enough to cross her path. She loves her toys, she loves her people, and she especially loves being carried around like the royalty she truly is. Got other dogs or cats? No problem — Clover is a social butterfly who gets along with her fellow fur friends beautifully. What Clover needs most is her person — someone who will spoil her rotten, smother her in kisses, and celebrate every single quirky, wobbly, wonderful thing about her. She doesn’t need to be fixed, because she isn’t broken. She just needs a lap to curl up in and a heart big enough to match hers. If you’re looking for a dog who will love you fiercely, make you smile daily, and remind you that imperfection is the most beautiful thing in the world — Clover is waiting for you. 🍀

Story
Monty is a tiny 7-pound 8 year old poodle. This adorable little guy loves nothing more than being close to his person and will happily follow you from room to room. He’s sweet, affectionate, and happiest curled up nearby after a day of playing and cuddling. Monty gets along with other dogs, but he’d truly love being the center of someone’s world. He sleeps quietly through the night on his dog bed, is learning his outdoor potty routine, and absolutely loves carrying around his toy bunny. His favorite part of the day? Greeting his foster with happy little zoomies when they come home from work. Because Monty gets very attached to his people, he may bark when left alone, so a house rather than an apartment would be best. He’s looking for a calmer home with children over 15 years old. If you want a loyal little shadow and best friend, Monty is waiting to meet you.

Story
DOB 12-12-2024 This sweet tiny little Poodle mix did not have a good start so she is looking for a loving Mom that needs her too! Georgie is social but shy, very sweet and loves to play with other little dogs like herself. Georgie has been spayed, she is Heartworm negative and received a ProHeart6 preventative injection. She is up to date on shots and dental work and weighs about 6 pounds. Her adoption fee is 850..00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC. they are a wonderful transport delivering pets to the East Coast every other weekend The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
In his foster home, Shawn has been wonderful with other dogs—from a tiny 6-pound pup to a big 50-pound dog—and he’s completely stolen their hearts. While he may react if another dog gets tough with him, he’s easy to redirect and does great overall. His favorite game? Stealing gloves, hats, and paper, then waiting for you to come find him like the tiny prankster he is. He brings so much personality, sweetness, and fun into a home.If you have specific adoption or foster questions, please email: judy.atchison@yahoo.com THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN RESCUING A DOG! Story
Sweet Queenie is looking for a special home!6 weeks ago she was surrendered after she jumped off furniture and lost use of her back legs. With steroids and strict crate rest she was lucky enough to regain most of her function without needing surgery. But with IVDD there is always a risk of future injury so she needs to be extra careful- keeping her from becoming overweight again, using ramps and not allowing her to jump off furniture or go down stairs too much is recommended. Which is hard because she definitely doesn't know anything is wrong and thinks she can run, jump and fly. She is crate-trained and likes her walks outside and has been housebroken if taken out on a regular schedule in her foster home. She is ok with other gentle smalldogs that won't jump on her back and accidentally hurt her. But mostly she loves human attention and is a sweet social girl. She's a smaller mini or larger toy poodle, should be about 10-11 lbs once she gets down to her ideal weight. Please submit an application to meet the Queen by appointment- she's currently in foster and not at the shelter Primary Color: Apricot Weight: 12 Age: 3yrs 2mths 3wks
