Story
Looking for a home for our loved cream toy poodle. He is 3 years old. Born 12/7/2021. About 7-8lbs. He is a very intelligent and sweet dog however he has become increasingly aggressive towards children. He was rescued by us when he was hit by a car at 6 months old. He had a successful surgery and it does not affect him in any way. He was raised in my home with my children and is wonderful with my tween daughter but aggressive towards kids including my 10 year old son. He has nipped my niece and nephew. He has had training and is very easy to teach but this is one thing we have not been able to overcome. He is scheduled to be neutered in April. I was hoping it would help but can no longer risk my sons safety while waiting to see. I love this dog, he is a Velcro dog and just wants to cuddle and sit with his person. Very affectionate. Does well with cats! He can be food aggressive when another animal goes near his bowl. Please consider giving our boy a home. He will steal your heart.

Meet Lucy, a 9-year-old toy poodle with a heart full of love and a sweet, affectionate nature. Lucy is incredibly smart and has so much love to give, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a deep bond with their pet. She's happiest when she's curled up on your lap, soaking up all the attention and affection she can get. Lucy is a loyal and protective companion, always keeping a watchful eye over her home and loved ones. Due to her protective nature, she is reactive towards other dogs and strangers, making her best suited for a calm and quiet home where she feels secure and has limited visitors [she has nipped strangers in the past, but is only a 10 lb pup]. Lucy has had challenges with her anxiety, and while she's made progress through training, she still needs an environment where she can truly relax. Her behavioral issues/aggression will require someone with patience who enjoys working with their dog - they will find her to be a wonderful partner in these pursuits.

Everyone can put a Cherry on top- this little lady is saying, "Why not Sprinkles on top?" Meet Sprinkles- a puppy mill survivor, DOB 10/29/2021, weighing just 12 pounds, this Mini Poodle is looking for her forever home. Sprinkles is very shy and reserved- she came from a mill where human contact must have been at zero or not kind/gentle. She will need a home understanding, patient, and we are recommending to have another dog for her to find comfort and confidence from. She has began to come out of her shell more and more, running and playing in the yard with the other dogs in her foster home. It is unknown how Sprinkles will do around cats or children, but other dogs has been a huge help with her Rehabilitation from mill dog to "home dog". Sprinkles will require a fully secure fenced yard to keep her from becoming too scared and potentially running off, especially with her history/past. Sprinkles does use a crate as a "safe place" but does not get the door shut, she is not up on leash walks or training- her main focus has been coming from "mill dog" and becoming a "home dog". Her foster has the following to say on her overall demeanor: "Sprinkles is ok with being held for short periods. She will just need time to come out of her shell- and has been working on just coming out to sit with me."
