Story
Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!
Meet Rosie, the 6-pound princess you've been waiting for! This 4-year-old toy poodle may be tiny, but she's ready to rule her castle (aka your home) with spunk and charm. Rosie's teeny tiny size is perfect snuggling and she adores being the center of attention, making her a wonderful companion at home or for traveling. She is currently going potty on puppy pads and is learning to walk on a leash, however she absolutely loves to be carried around and is enjoying her "puppy pouch" sling that we take her around in. She's not a fan of being left alone, and will test you the first few minutes in her crate at bedtime by singing you the song of her people. Although she came from a puppy mill, she is outgoing, very curious, lovey, and is happily adjusting to being a spoiled pup.
Rosie is fostered with a 20lb male dog and loves following him around while learning how to play. She gets along well with all humans, and does not seem to be afraid of men or children. Rosie is a gem for grooming, she will sit or lay patiently as she gets pampered like the little diva she is. Rosie will happily curl up beside you or in your lap-her favorite place to be! She's all set to fill your life with warmth, snuggles, and endless joy. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and adorable addition to your family, Rosie is ready to be your pint-sized best friend.
Rosie is currently being fostered in Florence, KY. Her adoption fee is $450.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
