Story
Ringo Is An Awesome Puppy Saved From The Puppy Mill. This handsome boy was destined for a sad life as a stud in a mill. Thankfully the breeder was discarding him and we got him and his siblings safely out and into our rescue. Despite his rough start, Ringo is a touch shy but warms up pretty quickly. He will be an awesome member to any committed forever family. He will blossom with love and will do well in a home with another friendly respectful dog companion. Like all puppies he will need structure and a patient loving home. We recommend training for all puppies not only to give the puppy learning skill. But you and your puppy/dog will create a stronger bond just for having gone to training. Ringo is fully vetted, He has been neutered, received age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, Subsequent vaccines are at the expense of his adopter, His adoption donation is $1200.00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family, Little Dogs can live to be 20+ years old so he wants to be sure his family is all in 100% for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): YOU MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE OR SOMEONE HOME ALL DAY. PUPPIES NEED TO BE LET OUT TO POTTY OFTEN, THEY NEED SOCIALIZATION AND BONDING AND NEED TRAINING (HOUSETRAINING AND BEHAVIORAL TRAINING). IF YOU WORK LONG HOURS, HAVE A BUSY SOCIAL SCHEDULE OR NOT FINANCIALLY SECURE THEN A PUPPY IS NOT FOR YOU. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits, If you would like to apply to be considered as an adoption candidate to adopt Rinfo please fill out an application for him adoption on our website at: https://www.rescuetailsanimalwelfare.org/info/aoption We are all volunteers with full time jobs. Story
Liam is a tiny little puppy know as a Chinapoo, a Japanese Chin and Poodle pup. He is a spirited little guy who will start out a bit shy. He was born in a commercial breeding facility and dogs not have the same puppy experiences a dog might have that was born in your home. He wasn't exposed to the same things at an early age. That being said, he is learning and adjusting well now that he is with us. He is a happy guy who loves to play with his mates. He will need house training and regular training like any puppy would. He does like to vocalize so he will be best suited for a home rather than an apartment or condo setting. Liam is a little guy causing him to be more fragile, He can't be in a home with little kids but would be fine with older kids. Like all puppies, he will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give Liam important learning skills, but because you and your puppy will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Liam is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $600..00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Liam wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): You must have a very flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in and to the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. Story
Meet Ike, the wise old sage of the dog world with a personality as unique as they come. At around 12 years old, Ike's seen it all, and he's not afraid to let you know he's in charge. While Ike might not be the cuddly type, his foster knows that beneath that tough exterior lies a heart of gold. He's got a discerning palate and a fondness for pill pockets that would make any dog envious. Chicken and Rawbble duck are the way to his heart when it comes to food. Toys? Not his thing. Ike prefers spending his time strolling the yard, occasionally tolerating the company of his buddy Tony, or simply lounging next to his chosen human, granting them the honor of his presence. Now, Ike might have a few quirks that set him apart from the pack. He's no fan of celery or most dog foods, and he couldn't care less about toys. He's not one to be petted without his consent, and getting his belly band on can be quite the ordeal. But don't be surprised if you catch him snoring occasionally; it's all part of his charm. Ike's not one for tricks or formalities, but he knows the importance of sitting when the situation calls for it. And when it comes to crates, he's perfectly fine with them. In Ike's world, he's a bit of a feline aficionado, making his own rules and expecting everyone to fall in line – or get a gentle gumming as a reminder. So, if you're up for adopting a one-of-a-kind canine character who's part dog, part cat, and all personality, Ike just might be your ticket to a truly unique companionship adventure. Just remember, in Ike's world, he's the boss, and you're lucky to be in his presence, "Dick Band Ike" and all!
