Story
My name is Noelle, and I was given a chance at life by Forever Loved after being pulled from the pound on Christmas Eve. I am functionally blind, and mostly deaf, but please don’t stop finding out more about me by reading on - You see, I am a very loving little toy poodle of 8 lbs and 12 years old. My favorite thing is snuggling and napping in my comfy bed, or being held in your arms. If I start to get anxious, all you need to do is let me know you are there with your loving touch or embrace, and I calm right down. I bond with my special human and exhibit a bit of anxiety when left alone, so if you are around a lot, that would be perfect! I have a bit of trouble with leaking urine, but I have no trouble wearing a doggy diaper. I will poop inside if I’m anxious, but if you take me out on a schedule, I’m happy to potty outside. I love to sniff around outside and inside, but please don’t move the furniture, because I’m really good at navigating my environment. Let’s be honest, I do exhibit the signs of cognitive decline, but I still deserve to spend the rest of my life being loved and doted on. I have some medications that help me not be anxious and sleep thru the night, and I can be good at taking my pills and eating my soft mushy meals if you help me by hand feeding. I love cooked chicken, so that is always a good thing! I have no teeth left, and sometimes I may be picky about food, but that hand feeding really works for me! I’m contentedly living in a wonderful foster home, and my foster mom dearly loves me, but I’m ready for a final home that will love me thru some challenges. I am really good for the groomer and my poodle coat looks beautiful after a brush and cut! Yeah, maybe I’m not the easiest dog to have around, but I am one of the “lovingest”. Is that really a word? Please apply to adopt me and make my dreams come true.

Story
PWRESCUE.ORG *PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY*  Say hello to Reggie, a delightful 6-year-old, 12-pound Poodle/Bichon mix with the sweetest, most gentle personality! He thrives on companionship and absolutely loves being close to his humans. If you're looking for a loving and loyal companion, Reggie is your guy! Reggie is a sweet boy who loves attention and being with his family. However, he does experience separation anxiety, which means he shouldn't be left alone for long periods of time. He would do best in a home where someone is frequently around—this makes him a great fit for someone who works from home or is retired. To help with his anxiety, Reggie would also benefit from having another dog in the home for comfort and companionship. Reggie will need regular exercise, which helps manage his anxiety and keeps him healthy. He loves interactive playtime, which provides mental stimulation and strengthens the bond between you and him. Reggie loves to keep busy, and he’s happiest when given a “job” to do! Whether it’s a fun training session or simply keeping you company, he loves to be engaged. He’s also quite adorable when he “patti-cakes” with his paws to get your attention! With consistent patience and training, Reggie will learn to feel more secure when left alone. He’s incredibly loving and loyal, and in the right environment with the proper guidance, he will thrive. Reggie is well-suited for a caring home that provides companionship, structure, and gentle guidance. He needs a family that will offer him the love and support he deserves. Reggie is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.  If you are looking for a companion like Reggie to add to your home, please visit our website at:  https://pwrescue.org and click on the "Adopt" button to complete an application.  His adoption fee is $350.00.  Pathways Home Animal Rescue February 9, 2025, 4:55 pm

Story
Ivan is an adorable Lhasa poo who is 1-2 years old but still very much a puppy! He is soft and cuddly and loves to play. He walks on a leash and likes car rides! He loves everyone and gets along with most other dogs. He was just neutered so still has a bit of testosterone and can sometimes square off with another male who is dominant. He is well mannered and learning the house rules. Ivan is a real people lover and would love an active person or family to call his own! Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained Ivan is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. Ivan is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Ivan’s adoption fee is $450 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! If you would like to be considered to for this adoption or any of our amazing rescues, please fill out the application with the help of this link. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AZST/Dog. We review each application carefully. Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair every dog and family for a successful and happy life.
