Meet Binnie🤍 💙 Binnie’s Updates Account: @biniiii_eo 1.)Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. * Has a severe underbite/malocclusion, and his upper and lower left canines were broken due to being interlocked. Has received dental scaling, and the upper canine has been extracted. 2.) Rescue Story * Binnie had been at the Gimje City Shelter for a long time without being rescued due to limited space at the Adogs center. One day, his weight suddenly dropped, raising health concerns. Adogs stepped in just in time to rescue him. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is wary of strangers and is on guard with guests that visit the home. Is especially wary of men. Doesn’t show interest towards people he meets on walks. Shows affectionate charm towards familiar people and has an energetic side. Sticks right by familiar people. * With Dogs: Coexists peacefully with other dogs and doesn’t show much interest first. Doesn’t approach them first to greet but is polite enough to respond to greetings of other dogs on walks. * With Cats: Doesn’t show much interest in cats. * Separation Anxiety: Does very well when left alone at home! * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty but uses pee pads indoors without any issue. * Hygiene: Handles bathing, brushing, drying, and tooth brushing like a pro. * Walks: When excited, tries to run. But most of the time, matches his pace with his handler and doesn’t pull on the leash. Keeps his attention on his handler and walks either beside or behind them. After coming home from a walk, he goes to the bathroom and sticks out his paws to get them cleaned. * Car Sickness: Rests well in a car without motion sickness. * Biting: Occasionally shows defensive nipping toward strangers due to wariness, but this has improved significantly. In his current foster home, he shows no signs of biting. However, he does have some resource guarding (possessiveness over objects) and can be a bit wary of men, so caution and patience are needed. * Barking: At home, he rarely barks except briefly when his meals are being prepared. May occasionally bark when a cat approaches him suddenly. * Likes: Likes walking, playing with a squeaky ball and doing nosework with treats. Wiggles happily when his butt is petted. Is extremely affectionate and deeply attached to those he recognizes as his guardians. * Dislikes: Is uncomfortable with sudden touch. Used to be sensitive about her belly being touched, but thanks to consistent desensitization training, she no longer dislikes it. Is scared of staircases in buildings and is currently being trained slowly with treats. For now, he is still being carried when he has to climb the steps. Is afraid of loud noises, such as top-loading washing machines, vacuum cleaners, or motorcycle. * Tricks: Has mastered several commands like 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'another paw,' 'nose,' 'high-five,' 'kiss,' and 'house.'

We are looking for an adult only home or one with children ages 10 or older. She is loyal and bonds deeply. She is active and will need another dog in the home for company. She is super intelligent and likes to be the boss. Savannah loves to run and be in the sun and thus would need to have a fenced yard. She craves structure and will need strong leadership to make her be her best. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots. Her fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Hitch! Hitch is a 2-year-old, 19 lb Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This sweet little guy has a gentle soul and is looking for a patient home to help him come out of his shell. Hitch is loving and affectionate, but he can be a bit shy at first and takes some time to warm up. Once he feels safe, he absolutely loves to cuddle, hang out in your lap, and enjoy treats with his people. He is a “dog’s dog” and gains a lot of confidence from having another canine companion around. Because of this, Hitch will need a home with a well-adjusted, confident dog who can help show him the ropes and support him as he learns to navigate the world. Hitch is still building confidence with things like walking on leash and the outside world, so he’ll do best with patient adopters who can go at his pace and help him continue to grow. A quieter, predictable home environment will be key to helping him feel secure—he would do best in a home without young children and outside of busy city living. With time, patience, and a loving home (plus a doggy buddy!), Hitch is going to blossom into a devoted, cuddly companion! Hitch is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Winnie! She is a 1-year-old, 11 lb, Chihuahua mix. She is a quiet, sensitive little girl who’s still learning that the world can be a safe place. New environments and people make her nervous, so at first she may hide and keep her distance. With time, patience, and a calm routine, she slowly begin to feel more secure and let her sweet personality show. Winnie is very well-behaved in the home and does best in a calm, predictable environment. She will need time to build trust and will thrive with an adopter who understands shy dogs and is willing to go at her pace. Winnie will need a quiet, adult-only home with: • No kids • No apartments/busy city areas • A house with a securely fenced yard She is a flight risk, and if she gets loose, she will not come back on her own — safety is extremely important for her. She will need a patient, experienced adopter who is willing to work with her, give her space when she needs it, and celebrate the small wins. She’s not a dog who will immediately run up for affection — but for the right person, she’ll be incredibly rewarding. She is good with other dogs and would love another confident dog in the home to give her confidence. Winnie may be shy, but she is gentle, well-mannered, and deserving of a safe, loving home where she can finally relax and feel secure. With patience and consistency, she has the potential to truly blossom. Winnie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.
