Story
Potato is a tiny, but mighty, Chi-Weenie with a heart as big as her personality! This sweet little lady has been through a lot in her life but doesn’t let her past slow her down from living life to the fullest. Originally surrendered by an owner who found himself unable to care for her while she was sick with pneumonia, Potato now has a chance to find her forever family.
Despite her rough beginnings, Potato has so much love to give. She’s a sassy little lady with an old soul who thrives on affection, cuddles, and quality time with her people. Though she has moments of anxiety from her past, she’s well balanced and knows how to enjoy both her quiet moments of rest and some fun, playful times – especially when it’s time for a walk! Her tiny legs may not make her the fastest, but she’d be more than happy to ride along in a stroller if you're up for an adventure.
Potato gets along well with other dogs and is perfectly content with her own space, so she's not necessarily looking for a playmate, but she is happy to coexist and be friendly. She hasn’t been around young kids but would do best in a home with kids aged 13 and older who can respect her boundaries. She’s an angel in her crate, and loves to snuggle up with you when it’s time to rest.
Though Potato has had a difficult life, she’s now ready to settle down and enjoy all the love, care, and attention she deserves.
