Story
Molly is an adorable 2 yr old, 17lb TFT or Rat Terrier mix ( she was 11 lbs when we first got her but she is a big fan of food and was likely younger than indicated!) She was surrendered to a local shelter with other dogs. She was terrified in the shelter environment, so we didn’t hesitate to pull her. Molly is a sweet goofy girl, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. She LOVES to play with other similar sized energetic dogs. She is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed as an only dog! Older dogs may not appreciate her enthusiasm. She is fine with cats and even tries to get them to play. Once she gets to know you, she is the biggest sweetheart, but she is SUPER timid with new people. She needs someone who can give her the time she needs to get used to new people, it helps that she is food motivated! We are seeking a home with no kids. Molly is seeking a home with a SECURELY fenced yard. She is learning how to walk on a leash but will alligator roll to try and get out of going for walk. Molly is a lover; she wants to snuggle and give kisses. If you do not like dog kisses, then Molly is not the dog for you! Molly is VERY very smart and is a possible candidate for agility. Molly is crate trained and housetrained. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention. LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY

Story
A DARLING & ADORABLE GIRL:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 15 lbs. Hi there, I’m Wynnie!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control along with another dog friend, and I’m so happy to be safe and well cared for here.  I’m adjusting to my new surroundings and would love to find a kind, calm family who will treasure me.  I got to spend a few nights in a temporary foster home and had a wonderful time.  I just went into another foster home, so there may be more information about me soon. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and was just a little growly when play engaged - I think I may just need a nice, slow type of introduction.  I like the dog that I came in with, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet, and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over!  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’ve come a long way since I first arrived - I was very timid at first, but once I get to know you, I turn into a total love bug!  I’m a sweet-natured, loving, playful, and gentle girl who just wants to be wherever you are. I can be a little unsure at times, like during my first bath, but I held onto my bather’s hands, stood bravely, and did great overall - finishing with happy tail wags. I’m truly a super sweet girl with so much love to give. / Energy level: My energy level at the shelter is around 4-6, though it was much higher in my temporary foster home!      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  When I arrived, I had to learn to cross thresholds, so the trainers and volunteers worked with me and after I was in my temp. foster home for a few days, it was no longer a challenge.  I’m new to leash walking, so let’s take some walks in quiet areas.  Let's also do some training together in the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts, though wasn’t a fan of it in my temp. foster home. / My potty manners were good in my temp. foster home, and I’ve only had a few accidents on the shelter schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I really love being with my people and getting lots of time and attention from them.  I enjoy playing with soft toys - whether I’m entertaining myself or having you join in - and I have so much fun being playful together out in the yard, especially if I can roll around in the grass.  I also love just hanging out by your side and soaking up all the cuddles I can get. / I’m not too keen on being by myself and feel happiest when my people are close.  Loud noises, fast movements, and louder cars passing by can startle me, and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a sweet little dog looking for a loving and gentle family to love.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 13, 2026, 10:04 am

Story
HANDSOME, SWEET & FUN:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 17 lbs. Hi, I’m Lexington, but I answer to the name Wicket (please refer to Lexington though when inquiring about me as that’s the name all my records are under).  I was adopted for about 8 months, but I’m back with Mostly Mutts because I simply could not get along with the kitties in my home.  I’m in a wonderful foster home now, while I wait to find my new family! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I liked some dogs I met while in my former home though I would snap at dogs who didn't respect my personal space.  In my foster home, they took things slowly with some walks together, sitting and eating separately inside, etc. and we became comfortable with each other and get along well now.  When I was formerly with Mostly Mutts, I liked the mellow small dogs, but not the larger ones, so if you have a dog that sounds like we could be a match, let’s take a walk together and have a nice slow introduction and see if we can be friends.  I believe I’d also be happy as your only pet. / No cats as I cannot live with them due to my strong prey drive. / Mostly Mutts thinks older kids would be best as I did bite a 7-year-old in my former home over resource guarding and I’m uncomfortable with small kids who don't respect my personal space. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  Based on what my former owner and foster have shared, I’m an affectionate, happy-natured, loving boy who’s a total cuddler. I have a great balance of playful and chill, with a fun, silly personality that keeps things entertaining.  I haven’t been destructive with furniture, which is a big plus!  I absolutely love people and attention - I’ll happily jump up to be close to you and will even try to sit right in your lap if you let me.  I’m a very sweet, lovable dog who truly enjoys being with my humans, and I am a very good boy! / Energy level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  My former owner reported that I know the ‘sit’, ‘leave it’ and ‘down’ commands.  They also say that I should not be off leash due to strong prey and scent drive.  I formerly resource guarded so I’m not allowed on furniture and that helped.  My leash manners are pretty good, though when I see other dogs, I look like I would want to “mix it up” with them, so my foster just crosses the street.  When I was with Mostly Mutts, I knew lots of commands, so let’s take advantage of the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers all their adopted dogs. / In my former home, I was anxious when left home alone – they reported that I should be crated and would cry, howl and bark for long periods of time, so best no apartment/condo type home due to this.  At bedtime, I enjoy sleeping in my foster’s bed and occasionally on a dog bed next to it. / My #1 potty habits have been good in both my former and foster homes.  I had a few #2 accidents when I first arrived in my foster home, but am doing much better now that I know the routine.  I am used to a fenced yard, and I go outside quite frequently. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I have lots of fun favorites!  I love blankets and soft toys - I’ll even make little nests out of them.  Tennis balls are a big hit, and I have a great time playing tug-of-war or chasing a ball.  I also love squeaky toys.  I’m a big fan of tasty treats like chicken, cheese, yak cheese bones, bully sticks and even broccoli.  I also really enjoy soaking up the sunshine in a cozy spot.  More than anything, I love attention - snuggling, being a lap dog, and going for walks and car rides! / I don’t like being left alone for long and can feel anxious when I am, so I’d do best in a home where someone is around a good bit.  I’m not a big fan of baths, and I prefer my space around other dogs or young children - unless I choose to interact.  Like all dogs, I wouldn’t be happy without plenty of love, attention, exercise, and training.       • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family that will treasure me!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 13, 2026, 10:04 am
