Story
Tenderness and time are key to winning 4-year-old Jasmine Jane’s trust. The more the shy 19-pound brown beauty settles into her foster home, the more comfortable she feels, revealing her genuine sweetness to her foster mom, cuddling with her, resting her head on her, giving her paw to ask for love and showing her belly for rubs. Fond of burrowing under the covers in typical Chi fashion, Jasmine Jane’s just as fond of engaging with her doggy foster friend, playing with toys and balls, playing fetch and going for walks, honing her leash skills along the way. Highly food and treat motivated, eager to please and learning quickly, she currently knows “come,” “sit,” “stay,” “down” and “no,” and is almost fully crate and house-trained. Now what Jasmine Jane needs is a calm household, preferably with another playful pup, and patient adopters to bolster her confidence, further her socialization with people and other dogs, complete her training, including her commands, and teach her how wonderful JOY feels! Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! November 8, 2024, 12:14 pm
