Meet Binnie🤍 * People: he doesn't approach strangers first. But he becomes so affectionate when he get close to. These days, he's gradually loosening his guard even with strangers. * Dog: When he meets another dog, he sits down and waits for the dog to approach him with manners! Even if the dog barks, Binnie sniffs gently without barking. * Separation anxiety: None. Most of the time he's alone is sleeping and relaxing. * Potty training: Prefers outdoor potty, but does well on a pee pad indoor. * Hygiene: Take a good bath and brush well! These days, he sits gently even gets drying. * Walk: Walk well with the foster without pulling a leash. A little sensitive to the sound of a motorcycle, but he's getting insensitive and he's a smart dog that stops and walks slowly when the foster says slow. * Car: Sits well in the kennel without car sickness. * Mastered Commands: Sit down, lie down, paw, opposite paw, nose, high five. * When someone uddenly tried to touch him without bond, sometimes he showed defensive bites because he's scared. June is the happiest little girl! She is maybe 2-3 years old and we think she is Johnny's mom or his sister. They were found living under a busy freeway in Los Angeles (3rd pic). They were there for months and we were told that she had a litter of puppies that were taken away from her... and she and Johnny were left there! A couple of nice ladies were feeding them, but couldn't catch them so they reached out to rescues for help. Once we heard their story and saw the photos/video of where they were surviving, we hired a trapper to go out and get them immediately. They have since gone to the vet and are current on their shots, are fixed and they are ready to find their forever home together! June is a hilarious girl, she is gregarious and LOVES to play with Johnny. The two of them playing is one of the cutest things we have ever seen. They look out for each other and in their case two is easier than one as they keep each other busy and cuddle together when napping. They would do best in a calm home w/o a lot of people coming in and out as they are shy around new people. If children in the home, they would do best with older calm children vs young kids. They need to be in a home that has a fenced yard, so they can't get out and get lost, dogs that have been on the street will go back into survival mode if lost. Their ideal home would be calm and relaxed where they can play in their backyard and go for walks in a quiet neighborhood (they currently walk in west hollywood and do fine, but a busy street or area could be too scary for them). Someone that wants to just cuddle w/them on the couch and take them for walks and hikes on leash. They don't want to go to dog parks. She is crate trained and leash trained (she does get excited bursts of energy on leash) and she is pretty good with potty training when on a schedule or the door is open for her to go out when she wants. She is bonded with Johnny and they must be adopted together. They are the sweetest little bonded pair and we would keep them if we could because we love them so much, but need to adopt them out so we can continue to save more dogs in need. Their adoption fee is $400 each.

Sweet little Banjo has had such a HORRIBLE start at life, but you wouldn't know if from his willingness to trust people and love life! He was saved as a tiny puppy from a hoarder house that had 59 dogs living outside in filth, over breeding. Then put in a kennel for the first 8 months of his life! We just couldn't let him stay there one more day as a kennel is no place for a dog long term, much less a puppy. He was saved w/his kennel mate from the same hoarding situation and are now in a foster home w/our trainer learning how to be inside dogs. They both are doing SO GREAT! Banjo is super playful and loves meeting new people and dogs on his walks. He's knows sit, is crate trained and potty trained. He's scared of loud noises and is a bit timid around new things, but that is to be expected w/a dog that's had no socialization in the real world until now. We would LOVE for Banjo to be adopted into a home w/another dog as he loves playing with all the dogs at his foster home or into a home that will hike him a couple times a week and have a couple play dates for him with friends dogs. He's social with other dogs and we love for dogs that like other dogs to have that in their life! Apply to adopt Banjo today! He's really a special little soul that deserves the best life ever!

Meet precious Cookie! We rescued her from the same horrible hoarding situation in South LA where we saved Roo, Cotton, and Palomo. We estimate she’s around 7 to 8 years old. The last two images are the emotional state she was in right after we rescued her from that nightmare. We can’t blame her, I think we would all feel that way if we came from where she did. It took about two weeks for her to decompress and now she is the most loving sweetest girl. Just look at the stark contrast between the last video and this first photo of her smiling! Now she is healthy, happy, and up-to-date on her shots, good with other dogs, cats, and kids.
