✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Binnie🤍 💙 Binnie’s Updates Account: @biniiii_eo 1.)Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. * Has a severe underbite/malocclusion, and his upper and lower left canines were broken due to being interlocked. Has received dental scaling, and the upper canine has been extracted. 2.) Rescue Story * Binnie had been at the Gimje City Shelter for a long time without being rescued due to limited space at the Adogs center. One day, his weight suddenly dropped, raising health concerns. Adogs stepped in just in time to rescue him. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is wary of strangers and is on guard with guests that visit the home. Is especially wary of men. Doesn’t show interest towards people he meets on walks. Shows affectionate charm towards familiar people and has an energetic side. Sticks right by familiar people. * With Dogs: Coexists peacefully with other dogs and doesn’t show much interest first. Doesn’t approach them first to greet but is polite enough to respond to greetings of other dogs on walks. * With Cats: Doesn’t show much interest in cats. * Separation Anxiety: Does very well when left alone at home! * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty but uses pee pads indoors without any issue. * Hygiene: Handles bathing, brushing, drying, and tooth brushing like a pro. * Walks: When excited, tries to run. But most of the time, matches his pace with his handler and doesn’t pull on the leash. Keeps his attention on his handler and walks either beside or behind them. After coming home from a walk, he goes to the bathroom and sticks out his paws to get them cleaned. * Car Sickness: Rests well in a car without motion sickness. * Biting: Occasionally shows defensive nipping toward strangers due to wariness, but this has improved significantly. In his current foster home, he shows no signs of biting. However, he does have some resource guarding (possessiveness over objects) and can be a bit wary of men, so caution and patience are needed. * Barking: At home, he rarely barks except briefly when his meals are being prepared. May occasionally bark when a cat approaches him suddenly. * Likes: Likes walking, playing with a squeaky ball and doing nosework with treats. Wiggles happily when his butt is petted. Is extremely affectionate and deeply attached to those he recognizes as his guardians. * Dislikes: Is uncomfortable with sudden touch. Used to be sensitive about her belly being touched, but thanks to consistent desensitization training, she no longer dislikes it. Is scared of staircases in buildings and is currently being trained slowly with treats. For now, he is still being carried when he has to climb the steps. Is afraid of loud noises, such as top-loading washing machines, vacuum cleaners, or motorcycle. * Tricks: Has mastered several commands like 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'another paw,' 'nose,' 'high-five,' 'kiss,' and 'house.'

Story
PIPER (Grass Valley, CA) Piper is a funny, endearing 15-pound, 8 year old Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix. She thoroughly enjoys belly rubs, strolls, playful pursuits, catching toys, and sun-bathing in the yard. Piper has been socialized by our outstanding foster, Noel, and gets along with small dogs. However, Piper favors an exclusive companionship with a special someone. If her special someone has other dogs, Piper will confidently assume an alpha role. She has subtle possessiveness that emerges when it comes to sharing attention from her foster. Piper is wonderful on both car rides and leashed walks. She barks infrequently, but can still be a reliable guard dog. Her foster wholeheartedly endorses Piper's remarkable cuddling abilities. Piper readily recognizes her name and demonstrates excellent recall. She is a flexible eater and proficiently uses doggie doors and/or pee pads. Does Piper sound like the one for you? We’d love to hear what you think in the comments below (and your comments help Piper be seen). Story
If you’re looking for a devoted, cuddly companion, Chipotle is ready to warm your heart! This two-year-old Chihuahua mix may be shy at first, but once he trusts you, he’ll be your constant, loving shadow—following you around the house and curling up right by your side. Chipotle thrives in a calm, patient home where he can build confidence at his own pace. He loves to cuddle and would be happiest with someone who enjoys having a little companion close by. Since small children can frighten him, he’d do best in an adult-only home or with older, dog-savvy kids. He also prefers a home without cats. Chipotle is available for adoption in the Oakley, Utah area, and transport may be possible for his perfect match. Ready to give this sweet boy the love and security he deserves? Story
Bonded with Pickles, A132858. Must be adopted together.Pickles and Chico, what a pair! Their history has bonded them, so we feel it’s healthier for both to be adopted and kept together.Pickles has lived his life on the streets with his homeless owner since he was very young. Chico came into the picture about a year ago when he was found and cared for by the duo. Their owner has had some issues over the years and Pickles has been a regular visitor to our shelter. He has actually gotten very comfortable here and has formed a strong bond with staff, always feeling safe and loved.Pickles is up for any adventure. He loves a good hike, or a slow day at the park with endless belly rubs. Chico is a bit younger, full of energy and a new human will have to earn his trust (although it only takes a day or so and some yummy treats) he is less trusting than Pickles but comes around quickly and is lovely. Their former owner cared for them and loved them and got them whatever they needed, so they come from a loving situation. Now they need a home. It will take some getting used to for them, as they lived in parks and such, but they are smart and will catch on to a good thing and a comfy couch to cuddle on. Could this street savvy fabulous, pair be what you’re looking for? They say “yes!”

Story
Yes, just like the enchanting shy house elf from Harry Potter, Dobbie will stare up at you with his big, precious brown eyes. He probably picks up great channels with those two big satellite dish ears of his, and with his cute short legs and long dachshund body, it’s clear he’s a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. What an adorable boy!Dobbie was allegedly found abandoned in an open carrier, which he seems to take comfort in now, often snuggling inside with a blanket in his kennel.During one volunteer’s first interaction with him, she expected to simply sit nearby, let him initiate contact, and speak softly to him. She was delighted when he immediately came over, wagging his tail, crawling into her lap, and giving kisses. He’s quite the wiggly little fella with lots of squiggly energy.Dobbie loves walks and is a dream on leash. He’s patient while you put it on and then trots happily along on his little legs, carrying those adorably large ears. In the yard, he lights up around squeaky toys. He’ll zoom off, toss a toy into the air, chase it, and run joyful circles. He’ll even play fetch for a moment, though his spunky energy sometimes sends him back into zoomie mode.Dobbie would likely do well in a home with a yard or with adopters who can take him to parks where he can run and be his playful self. He does enjoy chasing and playing with shoes, which is something future adopters can help him work on with training. It’s also important to note that Dobbie is a very sweet boy who has likely been through a lot. He seems to love women but is quite fearful of men, as observed by male staff and volunteers. A meet-and-greet will be important to ensure he feels comfortable with potential adopters. You’re in good hands now, little boy, with lots of love from volunteers and staff coming your way.If you know someone who might be interested in adopting Dobbie, come meet him at the Burbank Animal Shelter. He deserves to be free, just like the Harry Potter character. I bet he even likes socks. All we know for sure is that Dobbie is a friend.
