Story
Admiral is a gorgeous, smart 4 year-old sweetheart. Adopted from PACC Tucson in mid-December. Housebroken, knows commands & learns new instruction quickly. He's terrific with all people he meets & great with my 13 yo. He sits (preemptively!) while waiting for leash to be put on & food to be put out. A "velcro Dane." Whenever we’re gone, he simply lies by window & sleeps/watches until return. No destructive tendencies observed or experienced. He gets along great with our sweet runt two-year old terrier/labradoodle mix. On that note however, Admiral has shown fear/stress-based aggression responses to some other (larger) dogs. Will share more, but needs patient training & calmer home where he's probably only dog & w/ Great Dane experience (like ours). Big unexpected life changes w/ new baby coming make our capacity/timing for this not possible for us, sadly (blending in 2 more dogs because of this), particularly given his size & strength. Will provide dog bed/s, food bin, leash/leader!

Story
Petra was adopted by me after being in the shelter for about 5-6 months and she was deteriorating. She was depressed and scared for everything. Now after a year she has grown to be more confident and a happy dog. I love this dog. I am only seeking a temporary foster that will be okay to house her until I can find a way to move her with me to NC. We are a military family and unfortunately the only housing available at this time does not allow her breed. But she is a chill, calm dog that likes to go on walks and loves to chew on bones and toys. I am hoping someone is patient with her as she is very shy and hates loud noises. She does not know how to play with toys as far as fetching but she likes to chew on things. I am looking for a temporary foster and I promise to be reunited with this dog. I worked too hard to get her to trust me to just abandon her so I hope you will understand. But she is very sweet and calm. She's gotten a long with other dogs and my cat.

Story
I found Hank on the streets when he was about 5 months old. He was malnourished and terrified, so I assume he has a history of abuse. He is very loving and has no idea what personal space is lol. Plays really well with other dogs, despite his size he is very submissive when playing with other big dogs. We do not have kids so I am not sure how he is with them, from a distance he does not seem to be a fan. If you are gonna adopt him he needs a yard. He is rambunctious and needs a lot of exercise, but he is extremely trainable. Because of his mistrust for people in the past, it might take some work when he is first adopted. Lots of treats and respectful body language are important.
