Story
Meet Stormi Sky, a gorgeous Black Lab and Dane mix. She has the best traits of ha Lab and a Dane. Stormi is sleek, slender and has long legs like a pony. She is almost full grown at one year .She is like having a dog and a pony all in one. Stormi is loving, affectionate, smart, loyal and wants to please you. Stormi Sky’s foster dad is a dog trainer. She has been very well taken care of, loved and has extensive training. She excels at, “sit, down, place, recall and heel. She is potty-trained, can use a dog door and crate trained. She walks great on a leash and travels very nicely in the car. Stormi is very happy to go wherever you’re going. She is a super social girl who loves all people, and all dogs. She is use to meeting a lot of dogs and playing with dogs of all sizes. Stormi is on the petite side of a gentle giant; she is just tall. She eats four cups of food a day. She likes her walks and outside playtime. Stormi’s perfect family will need a house with a secure yard for her to be safe and play in. (no apartments) Stormi would like a built-in dog friend to be with and play with. Or if you or your families schedule has people in and out that are around and she can have a lot of attention and playtime and can keep her social that could work too. We recommend mature children, no babies or little ones. Only because they could accidently be knocked down. Stormi is ready for her perfect family to find her, take her home for a playdate that turns into a sleepover that turns into forever! She will be an amazing new family member. Loving Stormi Sky is an “easy button!!” *Stormi has been to the vet: a happy, healthy girl that is spayed.Totally vaccinated including Rabies and Bordetella. She has a clear fecal test and is micro chipped. Luvofdogzfund.org/adopt/application

Story
Penny came to us from the euthanasia list at the county shelter. She weighed a severely overweight 110 lbs and suffered from chronic eye issues. She was going to be euthanized for her medical needs. She was a volunteer favorite at the shelter, and what was more than clear to all of us was that this precious girl had simply never been given the chance to live the life she deserved. Since coming into our care, Penny has lost over 45 lbs and is looking better than we could have ever imagined. She has transformed into the type of dog who would fill her perfect home with all the love in the world. She loooves to play, adores her toys, has learned impressive obedience commands [and impulse control!], and she really is something special. Given her size and strength, Penny would do best with a person or family who can keep up her obedience work at home so she can continue to be her very best self and get in all the walks and activity that she needs. And speaking of home, she would love to be your one and only fur baby, and she made me promise to tell you that a yard for her would be a dream come true. Penny's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, bloodwork, vaccines, microchip and spay. With her in it, we can promise your home won't feel empty again, and she is sure to steal your heart 100 times over...guaranteed! To meet Penny, apply here https://lovethemallrescue.org/penny. She is sure to steal your heart 100 times over.

Story
Dozer has been waiting to be a permanent guest on someones couch for 210 DAYS! He is one of our favorites in the rescue, he's goofy, cuddly, and a big baby! He always runs out of his kennel with a toy in his mouth because he's just so excited! When excited he will try and nibble you with the front of his teeth if theres not a toy around to grab. this can look intimidating to people if you don't know him. Dozer has limited range of motion in his neck due to wobblers syndrome. Before being surrendered to us, he had 2 intensive surgeries on his neck to get him back to himself. Because of the operations his surgeons said that he is only to be walked on a harness. For the most part, he is non systematic. The one thing we've noticed since we've had him is he will every now and then drag his back foot. He's still up for going on long walks! Other than that he's a healthy and fit, but clumsy guy! His favorite thing is car rides!! He does FANTASTIC in the car and is always down for an adventure. As of now, we are looking for a home without any other dogs. He does well with dogs, but because of his neck, we want to limit rough play. Prior to his surrender, he lived with a young golden retriever. They did well together, but the owner couldn't read when Dozer was done playing with the overexcited puppy, so Dozer was forced to hand out some corrections to the other dog. Dozer needs to go to a home with NO cats. If other dogs are in the home, the prospective adopter must be ok with multiple greetings, slow introductions, and keeping the dogs separated in the beginning. Dozer is absolutely ready for his next and final adventure! Want to learn more about him? Fill out an application for him here: https://www.handoverrover.org/adoptionapplication
