Story
Feline Leukemia PositiveWe are partnering with Tri-State Noah Project (TSNP) in an effort to help London find her forever home. This gorgeous girl was thrown outside in Kentucky when the only family she had ever known suspected that she might be pregnant. When we found out that she was on the streets, we wanted to bring her in and help her as quickly as possible. It was while she was out on the streets that she became infected with the feline leukemia virus. We know this because when she was first tested, it wasn't showing up. When she was tested again, she was positive. It doesn't stop her. London is a super sweet kitty that longs to be the only kitty in the house. She deserves to have a family committed to her. She takes a daily supplement that helps keep the virus at a minimum in her system which will most likely help her have a longer healthier life. London has a message for anyone considering opening up their heart and their home to her. I can't promise you that the life that I will live will be a long one but it is my hope whether it's a few months or many years that I will have the life that my heart longs for. I dream that I will one day know love like other 'healthy' cats do... that I will be able to play like a kid at Christmas time surrounded by lots of kitty toys... I want to enjoy every bite of my tasty food ...Oh that I can sit by a window, look out and see nature at its best... maybe even become friends with a squirrel, a chipmunk and possibly even a little tiny bird that peers in the window to look at ME...I have visions of being in a real home with lots of space that enables me to feel like I have my freedom instead of living life in one room with so many other cats that are infected with the same virus. My heart aches for my own human to touch my fur every single day as they love on me. Whispering lips saying 'I love you' just before kissing the top of my head. I want to know what it means to be cherished every minute of every day that I have. When my body decides it's time to take that journey out of this life and cross the 'Rainbow Bridge,' that my very special human will know that they gave me a GIFT of life that I could have never received without them. I trust they will not feel sorrow in my passing. but TREMENDOUS JOY in knowing that they were chosen to love me, but even more than that - I was chosen to love them during my time with them. London is fully vetted, microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, FeLV+/FIV- combo tested. Born @ late October 2023. TSNP's Adoption fee is $80. Story
THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue and its volunteers have not evaluated this animal in any way and can not be held liable for the current condition or future care of the animal. Please work with the specific contact in the posting to confirm if the animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, etc. and for a complete description of the animal's personality and behavior traits. This is Muffin. She's a very lovable Siamese who would do best being an only pet! Her favorite toy is a toy mouse and she loves ponytail holders. She is currently at my house as she came from another household with two male cats and a puppy who were all very rough with her. I thought she could do well where she wasn't as outnumbered but she is still very weary of other animals. I hate to rehome her but I've given her a couple months of trying to adjust and it's not working for her. She came from a humane society and had been adopted in May of 2024, I took her in at the beginning of December and I love her dearly but she needs to be an only pet. Story
Sweet Silas is one of 12 cats that were rescued from a farm in Wilmington. He was fostered with Jewel for awhile and now he is also fostered with EB, Ellsworth, Sol and Alma. He is a gem of a cat - gets along with everyone and is a lover. But watch out! He is a bit of an underfoot cat/ trip hazard! Silas is a flame point siamese with pretty blue eyes. He would love to be adopted with a buddy or to a home with other kitties. Local adoptions only (Greater Cincinnati area). Adoption fee $75 or 2 for $125. Neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv. Born late spring of 2024. Here is a link to our application http://purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.htmlMarch 7, 2025, 8:46 pm
