Story
NALA is beautiful on the outside but temperamental on the inside. Surrendered to the SCHS because she was combative with the other cat in the home, she is playful but will dictate when she wants what. She's definitely made progress at the SCHS, even wanting attention. Then, out of nowhere, she'll pop you to let you know she's done. She must go to an experienced cat owner and be an only cat. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. You may complete an application to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Thanks for considering adopting a rescue pet! Adoption fees for pets with Stanly County Humane Society are to cover the following: *Spay/Neuter *Heartworm/Feline Testing *All standard vaccinations *Rabies Vaccination *Microchip  November 4, 2024, 9:40 pm

Story
Handsome ZEN was adopted as a kitten last spring. Having difficulty taking care of all his needs, his adopter reluctantly returned him. This big boy is a flame point Siamese X. We have gotten to know Zen better since his return. Since he had always been an only cat, he can be a bully with others. He likes attention and affection from people until he doesn't. It may be that getting him settled into a new home will help him relax. Those with Siamese experience would be the best applicants. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit.
