Story
Alexa was found as a local stray that was TNR'd and released by another group despite having an unusable and painful back leg. When we received her, we immediately scheduled an appointment for amputation so she could live a painfree life. Alexa is a sweet, curious girl who is doing really well adjusting to having 3-legs. We are looking for a home without dogs or small children.Please submit an application at pawshs.org and NOT a Petfinder inquiry as they may not be answered due to the volume of these inquiries received. Our adoption fees include the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies for cats / dogs over 4 months of age), flea prevention, worming, FeLV/FIV testing, heartworm test for dogs over 1 yrs old, and microchipping. I was living in a backyard with my 3 kittens, trying to survive. Lucky for us, PAWS took us in and started working with us so we could begin to trust people. I am still quite shy and will need a patient person used to helping to socialize cats.
