Meet Bama, an 8-month-old bundle of energy, affection, and curiosity who’s ready for an active home Bama went on a Jog-A-Dog and did great on an easy jog of about two miles, keeping up without any issues and showing she could be a fun running partner. She’s very friendly and absolutely loves attention, she’ll happily get right up in your space for pets and cuddles. At the park, she especially enjoyed relaxing near (or on!) her handler’s lap and watching the ducks by the pond.On walks, Bama is curious and enthusiastic, especially when it comes to sniffing bushes and exploring her surroundings. She may pull a bit on leash and move ahead when she knows where she’s going, and she can be a little talkative and reactive when other animals are around. With guidance, consistency, and continued training, she has great potential to improve, she’s a good listener and responds well to cues like “sit.”As a young pup, Bama can be a bit jumpy and mouthy at times, but she’s learning and eager to engage. She enjoyed playing with toys, though she can get distracted easily (there’s just so much to see!). Bama has been successfully paired with another dog at the shelter, so she may do well with a canine friend given proper introductions.If you’re looking for a sweet, active, and affectionate young dog who would love jogging, outdoor adventures, and plenty of love, Bama could be the perfect match for you
