Story
Jessie – A Gentle Soul Ready for Her Forever Home Jessie is a 5-month-old Jindo-Terrier mix with a soft brown coat and an incredibly calm personality. Weighing 11 kg, she’s the perfect blend of sweetness and serenity. While Jessie may not be the first to approach new people, she’s very accepting of affection when you reach out to her. She’s friendly with other dogs and gets along well with her furry companions. Jessie is currently undergoing leash training and socialization and is making wonderful progress. As a young puppy, Jessie will need a patient and committed adopter to continue her training and help her grow into a confident adult dog. Like all puppies, she may chew on things, so providing her with proper toys and guidance will be important. Right now, Jessie lives with her mom and siblings, so moving into a new home may take some adjustment. She could feel a little shy or lonely at first, but with plenty of love, attention, and playtime, she will quickly settle in and become a loving member of her new family. If you’re looking for a gentle and loyal companion, Jessie is waiting to meet you. Could she be the perfect fit for your home? 🐾💕

Story
This beautiful redhead has the cutest ears! Lucia is 1 year old weighing 28 lbs. She is gregarious and friendly. Lucia and Sofia were left abandoned together near the SPCA PV sanctuary. We’d love to adopt them together, but we can’t hold them back from finding a home that loves them if that’s not possible. While at the shelter we can’t confirm if she’s house trained, but it seems she once had a home, so we think its likely that she is. Lucia is medium energy and lovely with people. She is good with dogs at the shelter, though barks if there is a barrier, which is not uncommon in shelter environments. Lucia was tested with cats, and at first was avoidant and then gently curious. She even let the cats hold her leash. Lucia is healthy, spayed and vaccinated. She is currently at the SPCA PV sanctuary in Mexico, and will be able to fly to Vancouver, Calgary or Edmonton (possibly also Vancouver island) in fall when flights resume. If you think you might be the lucky home for her, write us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com and tell us a little about yourself, or go direct to our application: https://forms.office.com/r/b1Fkq3u4zw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBPNkVjG1w4
