Story
Meet Val! Miss Val arrived on 1/19 with her litter of 7. They were found as strays and their breed guess is Aussie Mix. She’s under 10lbs currently and still has puppy breath!
What we know so far: Val loves her people and wants to be with them all the time! She’d make a great work companion if you work from home or need an office dog. She also has more energy than her sister, Cupid. Val’s foster can totally picture her hiking, camping, boating, etc. A total adventure buddy!
Val is doing great with the residence dogs and cats. Val does like to chat while playing and while protesting so she’d probably be best in a home without shared walls. 🥰 We are working on crate training, potty training, and her overall life schedule so she will be well on her way once adopted! Apply if interested!
FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics.
To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
