Story
I rescued Kona about 2 years ago. She is an absolute lovebug at home when her people are with her. She has been the only dog in our household for the time we’ve had her, so I’m hesitant about reigning her into a situation with other dogs. She was a stray with no training. I have had her in training for a year and half, and while she is a star student in her classes, she still needs continued training and support for at home behavior. She loves her chew toys, playing in the water, and hiking. She’s a true PNW dog and loves everything outdoors. Because of her Aussie herding tendencies, she gets frantic with balls and doesn’t share them with other dogs very well. She also gets frantic around hikes as we think she had bad experiences with them prior. She really needs a home with people home as much as possible and preferably no other dogs. She is a cuddle bug and wants to be on top of you 24/7

Story
Hi there! I’m Hani, an 8-month-old female Border Collie, weighing a petite 22 lbs. Born to Border Collie parents in the neighborhood, I had a rough start in life, but I was rescued from neglect and have been living with humans since I was 2 months old. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home! As a Border Collie, I’m energetic, playful, and incredibly smart. I’m still a puppy, so I sometimes get carried away with zoomies or enjoy chewing on things for fun (puppy proofing is a must!). But more than anything, I crave love and attention from people. I adore being around my humans and express my affection with endless cuddles and tail wags. I’d do best in a home with a yard or access to a park where I can burn off my energy through play and exercise. Once I’ve had my fun, I settle down and enjoy quiet time indoors. I’m currently learning basic commands like “sit” and “wait,” and I pick things up quickly because I’m super smart! With consistent training, I’ll grow into a well-behaved and exceptional companion. I’m also great with other dogs—big or small. I get along wonderfully with my doggy friends and have a laid-back personality when it comes to sharing resources like toys and food. Speaking of food, I’ve got a healthy appetite, so mealtime is one of my favourite parts of the day! On walks, I’m still getting used to the big, wide world and can be slightly cautious in new environments. I’m not scared of cars or loud noises, but I’d recommend using a double leash while I’m still learning. I’m looking for a loving home where I can continue to thrive with lots of play, training, and cuddles. I’m a sweet and intelligent pup, full of potential to become your perfect lifelong companion. Are you ready to give me the forever family I deserve? Let’s meet soon—I can’t wait to shower you with love!
