Story
Chance is the smartest dog we've ever owned! He is 5 years old and originally from Tennessee. He is super athletic, very active, and loyal to a fault. Chance needs a home that has no children or dogs. When he's not energetic, he is super affectionate. He preferably needs a very large yard or farm (since he's a healer) but a fenced in yard will work as well. Back to his smarts.... he is very well trained (went to a month long training and they sent him back after 3 weeks because of how well he did). The reason we are giving him up is because we are having a baby in May. At times he can be unpredictable with his high energy and strength when playing with dogs and young children, and we just can't risk that with a newborn. That is the ONLY time his aggression comes out. Other than that, he really is the perfect dog.

Shae is a sweet young lass. She's a big more tentative around new things than her brother, Simon, but warms up quickly. She likes to sit on your lap.  Shae would like to be your new BFF She needs to learn puppy manners. Shae comes to us from a shelter in rural southwestern Virginia. Shae and her brother, Simon, as well as their father, were seized from their owner for neglect (starvation). Gender:  Female DOB: Approx. 12/1/2023 Current size; 21 pounds PLEASE NOTE:  we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA.
