Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Great pup but not a family dog (at this point in his life!). He is a red heeler so he is constantly trying to herd, and he nips. He is clearly not trying to hurt anyone, but he does not know when to NOT nip. He is also a great guard dog, barks loudly at other dogs passing the house. Seems to like dogs but he gets into loud wrestling matches with my other dog and seems to bully him a bit. Completely house trained and crate trained. He is a sweetie but just has too much energy and wildness for my household.

Story
I acquired my dog from an adoption event inside of Petco that was ultimately set up by Homeless Hounds Shelter of Colleyville. I do have him signed under 24 Hour Petwatch and paid a $100 fee (one time payment). The adopter must be willing to pay the fee with 24 Hour Petwatch in order to fully transfer custody of Buster. I just want Buster to be taken care of and with someone/people who can keep him up to date on vet visits. He does not bark nor does he like long walks. He’s a great dog to relax and cuddle with; he also knows to sit on command. He’s 8 years old, his birthday is at the end of February. I will give the folder with all of his information the day of picking him up. Please let me know if you would like more information on Buster.

Story
Yuki was found as a puppy along side busy road. We have kept her with our other dog since then. High energy and very affectionate. She loves to chew and has what I call chewing ADHD, will switch to things as soon as she sees them. Has completed obedience school but still has occasional house accidents. Loves to cuddle and will show affection until she gets her belly rubbed. Our other dog had back surgery and can’t handle playing with Yuki anymore. Looking for a loving home. Has had first round of shots but due for next. She should be around 8-9 months old.

Story
😍💗 ADOPT SADIE 💗😍 Sadie is the cutest little, tiny girl. She was captured by the wonderful team at Mutts & Mayhem Emergency Search and Rescue after running around for a couple months by herself. Sadie is very sweet but doesn't trust easily. She's skittish around people and uncomfortable in new situations, but she really enjoys being with other dogs. She also loves snacks! SO MUCH. Sadie is looking for a very special family, who understands she will need time to adjust. They will need to be committed to continuing her socialization while keeping her safely secured. Sadie is adorable, but she may never be the kind of dog who greets you at the door or comes to you for pets and hugs. ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.tinyurl.com/IADRAdoptionApp ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Blooper is a great dog who just needs a great home! We moved to a smaller lot and we just feel terrible for her here. We used to leave her outside while we were at work and she loved it. Since moving, we have a smaller yard and a very mean neighbor dog. She has been around small children all 4 years of her life and has never had any problems. She has always been fine with other dogs and doesn't bark much. We could keep her and would love to but for her sake we are looking for a new home. We are only looking for a new owner who has some space for Blooper to run. If you have some land, Blooper would be the perfect dog for you! She was born on a farm to two working Shepard dogs so she has the instincts. She really is a sweet dog that will love you forever!

Story
Mars is a purebred Australian Shepherd who’s been with our family since he was a puppy. He’s a very intelligent dog and knows commands such as sit, down, spin, and touch. His favorite game and form of exercise has always been frisbee catch. He’s always been an indoor dog, and he’s both kennel and house trained. At this point in our lives, we both have careers and have three small children who take a majority of our time. Mars is certainly great with the kids (and very patient with the toddlers). Unfortunately, this leaves little time for us to exercise him and give him the attention he deserves. That is why we’ve decided to find him a new home. We feel he will find more happiness and bring the same joy he provided to the right family. Mars would do great in a home where is he welcomed inside. He is not a fan of other dogs until he gets to know them. A simple 20 minutes of fetch, 2 meals a day, and a good belly scratch will keep him happy.

Story
She’s very sweet and playful, but does not get along with cats. She is afraid of men and older people (70+) and will bark and growl at them if they are in the house or the lard. She’s fine with other dogs once she’s used to them and as long as they don’t challenge her for dominance. She pulls on the leash but loves long walks. She’s very cuddly and will follow you wherever you go.
