Story
I acquired my dog from an adoption event inside of Petco that was ultimately set up by Homeless Hounds Shelter of Colleyville. I do have him signed under 24 Hour Petwatch and paid a $100 fee (one time payment). The adopter must be willing to pay the fee with 24 Hour Petwatch in order to fully transfer custody of Buster. I just want Buster to be taken care of and with someone/people who can keep him up to date on vet visits. He does not bark nor does he like long walks. He’s a great dog to relax and cuddle with; he also knows to sit on command. He’s 8 years old, his birthday is at the end of February. I will give the folder with all of his information the day of picking him up. Please let me know if you would like more information on Buster.

Story
Yuki was found as a puppy along side busy road. We have kept her with our other dog since then. High energy and very affectionate. She loves to chew and has what I call chewing ADHD, will switch to things as soon as she sees them. Has completed obedience school but still has occasional house accidents. Loves to cuddle and will show affection until she gets her belly rubbed. Our other dog had back surgery and can’t handle playing with Yuki anymore. Looking for a loving home. Has had first round of shots but due for next. She should be around 8-9 months old.

Story
😍💗 ADOPT SADIE 💗😍 Sadie is the cutest little, tiny girl. She was captured by the wonderful team at Mutts & Mayhem Emergency Search and Rescue after running around for a couple months by herself. Sadie is very sweet but doesn't trust easily. She's skittish around people and uncomfortable in new situations, but she really enjoys being with other dogs. She also loves snacks! SO MUCH. Sadie is looking for a very special family, who understands she will need time to adjust. They will need to be committed to continuing her socialization while keeping her safely secured. Sadie is adorable, but she may never be the kind of dog who greets you at the door or comes to you for pets and hugs. ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.tinyurl.com/IADRAdoptionApp ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
We rescued Beau when he was just a pup. He looks like he's mostly heeler but I am not sure what he is mixed with. He is a good boy and is kennel trained. He actually prefers to sleep in his kennel at night. I have no complaints about him. He has a great personality and is good with other dogs, cats and kids. I am only having to rehome him due to recently having to become a single mom, sale my house and live in an RV bc that's all I can afford. He needs a yard to run and play in. So I have decided to try and find him a good home.

Story
Meet Ruger – Your New Best Friend! Are you a fan of Aussies? Then Ruger, at only 42 pounds and 3 years old, might just be the perfect match for you! This handsome, intelligent Australian Shepherd came to us as a stray after his previous owner never claimed him from a small shelter. Despite that, he’s proven to be a resilient and loving dog, ready for a fresh start in a forever home. At first, Ruger was understandably anxious in his foster home, but day by day, his sweet, smart, and playful personality has blossomed. Now, he’s a bundle of joy and energy! Ruger would love to have another playful dog or kids to romp around with. If you have a big backyard, that's a bonus—Ruger adores playing in sprinklers and will happily engage in a game of fetch (when he’s in the mood, of course!). More than anything, Ruger loves being close to his people. Whether you're inside or outside, he’ll stick by your side, always ready to be your loyal companion. He’s also quite the quick learner—he mastered the doggie door in just one day and hasn’t marked in the house. He does well in the car, loves walks, and loves to chase squirrels. At night, Ruger sleeps quietly in his crate, though he'd be thrilled to snuggle up with you if given the chance. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, and loving dog, Ruger is ready to bring joy and companionship into your life. Could you be the family he's been waiting for? We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Cleo is a 4-year-old, 30-pound Miniature Australian Shepherd, who has been a beloved part of our family since she was a puppy. She is white and black with distinctive brown paws and is known for her intelligence, loyalty, and playful nature. Cleo was purchased from a breeder in Mansfield, TX, and has been with the same family ever since. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and has no significant medical history, making her a healthy and happy companion. Cleo thrives on play and exercise, with a particular love for fetching. She enjoys getting her energy out in a yard rather than going on walks, and her ideal environment would include space where she can run and play. Though she currently lives with a toddler, Cleo would likely prefer a home with older children or no children at all. She requires ongoing attention and mental stimulation through games and activities. Cleo has been around other dogs and is generally sweet, but she should be supervised during interactions as she can be cautious around unfamiliar dogs or people. Cleo is both crate trained and potty trained, making her easy to manage in the home. While she is not a fan of walks on a leash, she does enjoy other activities and has an eagerness to learn new tricks. She is very intelligent and loves mental challenges, making her a great candidate for a family who enjoys teaching their dog new things. Cleo loves to stay close to her people, often snuggling and seeking out affection, though she is more cautious around strangers. We are putting Cleo up for adoption because, with our growing family, we are unable to provide her the attention and stimulation she needs. She would thrive in a different family setting where she can get the time and care she deserves. At 4 years old, Cleo is the perfect balance of playful energy and affectionate companionship. As a Miniature Australian Shepherd, she brings intelligence, loyalty, and a deep connection to her family. If you are looking for a sweet, loving dog with a lot of personality, Cleo would make a wonderful addition to the right home. She is ready to find a family that can offer her the attention and love she deserves. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Cleo, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Meet Jack! Jack is a 9 year old border collie mix. Jack came to POLAR as a surrender. After spending some time roaming acreage, Jack was dropped off at the vet in rough shape. This, however, has not negatively affected him, as he has one of the biggest hearts. Jack develops a quick bond and loves being close to his person. He loved having his long coat brushed while watching TV. He is house, crate, and leash trained, does very well around other dogs and even cats, and can follow simple commands. Unfortunately, Jack does not display any interest in playing with balls or chewing on bones as his teeth have been worn down. Again, this lovable pup does not let adversity stand in the way and is still able to enjoy treats and hard kibble. Jack is truly one of a kind and would do well in pretty much any home with a yard to explore. To meet Jack, please fill out an application! Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application . Adoption donation $295 includes spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Dallas/Ft. Worth area Applications can be found online at www.pawsofloverescue.com, under the adopt tab.  We require an approved application before a meet and greet is set up.  December 10, 2024, 11:12 am
