Story
Hi friends, Odin here! I'm a sweet and sensitive boy that is sure to make you smile! I am currently in foster care. If you are interested in meeting me, please email: Salem Adoptions or come in to learn more about me and schedule a meet.I love to be around my human friends - spending time with my people sounds like a great way to spend the day! Whether it's a movie night on the couch or a stroll around the neighborhood, I'm just happy to spend time with people. While I do love attention, I can be a bit shy with new people, new situations, and touch, especially medical handling. I'd do best with a family that can take things at my own pace - I promise you'll be rewarded with lots of love for your patience!I'm an active boy, and I can't wait to show my new family how playful I am! I love to learn and am very treat-motivated too - snacks can be a great way to teach me new things! According to my previous family, I'm even pretty good in my crate! In my last home I lived with cats and kids and did well! I did try to play with my cat siblings though, which they didn't always like, so I'd do best around more dog-savvy feline friends. My previous family said I did well playing with other dogs, but I can sometimes be picky with my canine friends. I'll need to meet any pups you currently have to make sure we hit it off before you take me home!Guess what else? I'm part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, so we can spend lots of time getting to know each other before you officially adopt me. If you are looking for a new best friend to brighten your days, you may have just found the perfect fit.Click here to learn about the adoption process. You can also stock up on food and treats using our online store by clicking here. Story
HOLLY 💕 She is Terrier/Aussie mix very soft coat with feathering here and there. If you can look at her eyes close they are the most beautiful grey . She 2 yrs old and about 45-50 lbs. Note from foster mom: Holly is the life of the party! She loves to cuddle and be with her people. She is great with other dogs, big and small, with proper introduction. She has big movements and can sometimes make the smaller dogs nervous, but once she settles down, she is fine. Holly is ok around cats. She does not have a mean bone in her body, but if they run away, she will chase after them. She is still learning how to be a better friend to cats, and with continued boundaries, she will do just fine. Holly knows basic commands, "sit", "down", and "go to bed." She is a jumper when she gets overly excited, so she will need her person to continue reinforcing the habit of placing her in a "sit" before she gets attention. This girl is a LOVER of all people, and children of all ages. A little fearful of men. She is potty trained and will tell you when she needs to go outside. She is not food or toy aggressive and shares with other dogs who are around her. Holly is a wonderful, goofy girl who would ideally be great for a family who can keep her active with walks and lots of playtime. While she is a wonderful couch potato, she is her happiest when she has the mental and physical stimulation. Please apply at www.hopeshavenfriends.org

Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
