Hi, I’m Spice, and if you think life is bland, I’m here to sprinkle a little spunk—and a whole lot of love—into your world! I’m Spice, a sprightly 3-month-old bundle of joy, and let’s be real—this is the perfect age to welcome a puppy! I’m just the right mix of "still learning" and "I’m ready for anything," so I’m not stuck in my ways and super eager to soak up all the love and fun life has to offer. I adore people, which probably has more to do with my sparkling personality than my age, but hey, I’m not complaining! If you’re within a 10-foot radius, expect me to try and squeeze into your lap—I mean, who doesn’t want a cutie like me in their lap, right? I get excited when you come home and let's just say that jumping is my love language, and I get along with everyone—other dogs, cats (those purrinators), and even kids. Seriously, I’m basically the perfect, tail-wagging, cuddle-loving, zoomie machine of a pup! Right now, I’m a little over 16lbs, so don’t worry, I won’t be a giant! I’m guessing I’ll top out around 60lbs, maybe a little less, which makes me the perfect size for road trips, hikes, and family adventures. I’m super excited to get out and about with my people, but I still need a little help in the car—those big girl legs are still in development! As for public outings, I haven’t had much experience... unless you count the vet, but honestly, I don't. That place is not my idea of fun, especially since the last time I was there I was battling Parvo like a champ—but don’t worry, I beat it! Now I’m all better and ready to take on the world. I’m a social butterfly who would love to check out cafes, parks, and whatever else comes my way. Leash walking? Well, let’s just say we’re still getting to know each other. I’m not sure why it insists on controlling my movements, but I’m a quick learner, and I just know I’ll figure it out soon! I’m believed to be a Border Collie mix, which means I’m practically a sponge for learning new things (and let’s be honest, I’m pretty quick at it too!). It also means I’m totally devoted to my people—whether we’re out on an adventure or just snuggling on the couch in a cozy moment. I’d say I’m a perfect mix of calm and playful—ready to zoom around with other dogs for a bit, but after I’ve burned off that energy, I’m all about napping and finding a comfy spot to crash. As for apartment life, I think I could totally rock it, as long as you’re around a lot to keep me entertained. I’ve got my “big girl voice” going, so I might announce my presence if I see something suspicious in the complex... but I promise I’m just trying to keep everyone safe (and I may or may not get distracted by a squirrel). I’m still a pup, so potty training is a work in progress, but I’ve already mastered the doggie door—look at me go! I’ve slept in a kennel, but I haven’t had the door shut on me yet, and so far, I’ve been pretty good about not chewing anything I shouldn’t. That said, you might want to puppy-proof your home—just in case I decide to test out my “chewing the world” phase! ;) Well, that’s all the “Spice” you need to know about me—now let’s add a little flavor to your life together! Just remember, adopters will need to come pick me up in Sand Springs—sorry, no doggie Uber for me, we don’t send our pups on transport! Spice

Story
Is the cold weather freezing your soul? Do you find yourself wandering through life in search of some happiness? Well, let us help you out of that chilly slump! Meet Happy, aka Happy Dwarf from our Snow White Litter—because let’s face it, this little gal is practically a walking joy factory and, at just 4.5 pounds, she’s about the size of a burrito that you can’t eat. Her mama’s a Mini Aussie, weighing in at a whopping 33 pounds, so it’s no surprise that Happy’s going to be your “pocket-sized” partner in crime. Well, maybe not pocket-sized, but when you’re used to Pyabears that could be mistaken for small bears, Happy's practically a snowflake in a blizzard! Happy is 6 weeks old and the epitome of “joy wrapped in fur,” with a dash of mischievousness for good measure. This little adventurer is as charming as her namesake and ready to turn your world upside down—in a good way, of course. If you're looking for a pup to sit on the couch and binge-watch Netflix with you... uh, no. Happy's idea of a "lazy day" is 10 minutes of cuddles followed by a 3-hour game of "let’s-see-how-fast-I-can-wiggle." She’s a social butterfly, meeting new people like she's auditioning for the role of "best friend" in everyone’s life. You’ll never meet a rock, tree, or stranger who won’t fall in love with Happy. If you’re the type of person who rises with the sun, loves to throw epic get-togethers, or can turn a trip to the store into a social event, then she’s your girl. Happy is all about playtime—whether it’s with toys that are almost as big as she is (seriously, it’s like watching a tiny snow-white warrior take on a giant stuffed bear). But don’t let her size fool you—this little dynamo is always in the thick of things, ready to sprinkle joy, kisses, and giggles wherever she goes. Want a constant companion? Well, Happy is that friend—she’s the one who’ll show up at your feet, bring a toy twice her size, and demand to be included in everything you do. And if you're busy and can't give her all the attention she deserves? No worries—Happy’s got her own entertainment program set up and running. But let’s be real, she would love a doggie sibling to wrestle with, chase, or just pester (with all the love, of course). Or if you're a family that loves to stay busy and keep her mentally and physically engaged, you'll have found your perfect match. Happy has no concept of the word stranger—it’s more like, “Hi, new friend, let’s be besties forever!” She’s convinced that every dog in the world is a potential buddy, and nothing—nothing—can deter her from her mission of converting every cranky senior dog into her personal playmate. The fact that they’d rather nap in peace? Well, that’s just a minor detail to Happy’s unrelenting charm. So, if you have a senior dog with a bad attitude, she might be just a little too much for them to handle. But it’s not just dogs who are on her friend list—oh no. She’s also a big fan of the purrinators (that’s cats, in case you didn’t know). While some of them may not be thrilled with her puppy energy, she’s small enough to just squeeze by their ‘don’t mess with me’ vibes. Plus, they can’t be too mad at her—she’s basically a tiny cloud of happiness that’s hard to resist. As for kids? Heck yes, the more the merrier! She’s all about playdates, chase games, and endless fun. But, and here’s the thing—currently, she’s rocking that “landshark” vibe, complete with mouthy play and claws that could give a paper shredder a run for its money. So, unless your little ones have superpowers or are part of an elite ninja squad, she might be better suited to families with older kids who can handle her sharp little teeth and claws during playtime. But if you can handle her puppy antics, she’ll bring endless giggles and joy into your home! Alright, before you start imagining Happy as your perfect, tiny, flawless pup, let’s have a little chat. She’s adorable, but let’s not fool ourselves—she’s still a baby, and that means you’re not exactly off the hook for all the “fun” parts of puppyhood. That’s right—Happy’s going to need a little guidance to become the princess she was born to be. Potty training? Yep, you’ll get to be her personal potty guru (and don’t think for a second that she won’t turn your house into an obstacle course of chewable treasures while you’re at it). And as for puppy-proofing the house... let’s just say, if you leave things lying around, Happy will find them. It’s like an ancient treasure hunt, but with shoes, socks, and possibly a TV remote. Oh, and let’s not forget the art of leash walking thing. With your help, she’ll eventually become the loyal, well-behaved companion you’ve been dreaming of. So, grab your sense of humor, your puppy patience, and maybe some extra cleaning supplies and get ready for one heck of an adventure! If Happy’s contagious joy and puppy eyes have already stolen your heart, then get ready to embark on a whirlwind adventure with this little bundle of sunshine! To start, simply fill out the adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app, and once we’ve got it, we’ll send it over to her foster family to make sure you two are the perfect match—because Happy is on a quest for her happily ever after, and she’s looking for her royal subjects (aka, YOU). Currently living the high life in a fairy tale foster home in Midwest City, OK, Happy is ready to find her castle, but if you’re not local, don’t worry—how about a magical road trip? Commercial transport is for peasants, and Happy deserves nothing less than a royal journey with you by her side. It’s the perfect opportunity for you to bond, sing some Disney songs, and enjoy a scenic drive as you make her transition into your family smooth and full of puppy love.

Story
Ever notice how all the dwarfs in Snow White have names that reflect their emotions or traits—Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy—except for Doc? Did they just run out of ideas? It's a mystery that will never be solved, but what’s definitely not a mystery is how utterly sweet and fun this boy is! Doc may not wear his emotions on his sleeve like the others, but his heart is full of love, and his joy is absolutely contagious. He’s the kind of dog that lights up a room just by being in it! Doc might be small, weighing in at just 4.5 pounds right now, but don't let his size fool you—this little guy is full of big personality! You won’t need to worry about him taking over your entire couch or upgrading to an SUV just to fit his fluffy self. His mom weighs about 33 pounds, so that’s a pretty good clue about how big he’ll get. Of course, his dad’s breed remains a mystery whispered in the wind, so there’s always a chance he might surprise us! But judging by his current size, it’s more likely he’ll stay compact and cozy—maybe even smaller than his mom. Time will tell! At just 6 weeks old, Doc has already established himself as the “brains” of the family. He’s the pup who figures everything out first, whether it’s a tricky toy or a new adventure. And let’s be honest—just like with us humans, the smartest ones tend to overthink things (cue all of us lying awake at night replaying awkward conversations), Doc wears his heart on his paw and is sensitive in the sweetest way. He absolutely adores attention and thrives on reassurance that he’s, in fact, the very best boy. With his smarts, Doc is a prime candidate for learning all sorts of tricks and games. You know those fancy dog puzzles and those button gadgets you’ve seen on TikTok? The ones your current dog just stares at like, “Seriously? What am I supposed to do with this?” Doc is your guy for that! He’d probably ace those in no time, leaving you in awe of his cleverness. Just like his namesake in the movie, Doc is everybody’s best friend—whether they like it or not! He’s the kind of pup who firmly believes that everyone is in desperate need of a BFF, and lucky for them, he’s available. Other dogs? Oh, they’re absolutely on his friendship radar. But fair warning: if your current dog enjoys their peace, quiet, and personal space, Doc might not be their dream roommate. He’s all about playtime, tail-wagging devotion, and shadowing them like an overzealous little brother. And don’t think the “purrinators” are off the hook, either! Cats might initially give him the side-eye, but Doc is convinced that his irresistible charm and sheer persistence will eventually win them over. (Spoiler alert: he’s probably right.) He’s like the kid in class who brings cupcakes to everyone’s desk—you can’t resist his enthusiasm forever. Kids are also a big ol’ “yes” for Doc, but fair warning: his puppy enthusiasm doesn’t come with a built-in manual on gentle play. He might mistake tiny hands for chew toys or think his little claws are part of the fun. So, kids who are old enough to understand that he’s not trying to audition for Jaws—and parents who won’t freak out over a little roughhousing and not take his puppy antics too personally. He’s just trying his best to share the love. Doc is the perfect mix of ready-for-action and let’s-chill-on-the-couch. He loves being part of the family fun, whether it’s chasing the kids around, joining the other dogs in some epic zoomies, or tagging along on your next adventure. Playful enough to keep up with all your shenanigans, but with a built-in off switch, Doc is also a pro at snuggling, napping, and enjoying the finer things in life—like belly rubs and Netflix marathons. If your idea of fun includes hikes, public outings, or just exploring the world, Doc is 100% down. He’s the kind of pup who will make friends with everyone, because, let’s be real, the word “stranger” isn’t even in his vocabulary. But when the adventure is over, he’s more than happy to head home, grab a toy (even if it’s bigger than he is), and entertain himself while you kick back. Whether it’s go-time or chill-time, Doc is the perfect sidekick for whatever life throws your way! As perfect as Doc is, this little guy is counting on you to show him the ropes and teach him how to be the best boy possible. Yep, it’s time to dust off those puppy training books you swore you’d never need again because.....Yeah... Doc’s adorable little face just made you a liar, didn’t it? And don’t forget to puppy-proof your house—Doc’s keen eye for “treasures” means anything left lying around willy-nilly is fair game. Trust us, he’ll find it, he’ll “customize” it, and he’ll look up at you with those innocent eyes like, “You’re welcome for my artistic contribution.” If Doc’s Snow White-worthy charm has enchanted your heart and you’re ready to make him part of your happily ever after, then it’s time to begin your fairy tale! Start by filling out the adoption application at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app. Once you’ve submitted it, we’ll wave our magic wand (okay, send it to his foster family) to make sure you’re the perfect match—because Doc is searching for his forever family to share his storybook ending. Currently living his best life in Midwest City, OK, Doc is ready to set off on his next big adventure. Not local? No problem! Pack up your carriage (or, you know, your car) and make it a road trip to remember. Doc is far too special for commercial transport—he deserves the royal treatment, and a scenic drive is the perfect way to bond before he becomes your newest sidekick.
