Story
Echo came to the shelter scared and a little shut down, but loved treats and began to up with a little patience and attention. Currently in loving foster care, her silly personality has really started to shine. She loves to play with her foster siblings, and is sweet and gentle with her foster mom (she does seem to feel more comfortable with women). This gorgeous little gal has come leaps and bounds since we first met her. She`s looking for a loving and compassionate forever home, preferably with another four-legged friend, that will be patient as she gets comfortable and opens up even more. With a lot of love and a little confidence boost, Echo is sure to bring so much joy to a person or family.

Story
Meet “Mia” ! The sweetest girl - she arrived at our shelter recently and has been a Jem ever since. We don’t know her history, but we can tell that she had a rough life before coming into our arms. ‘Mia” was very shy and shut down, she was having a hard time adjusting to her environment in our shelter. We decided yo give her a break from our shelter and were able to place her into a foster home with a loving family willing to provide cuddles, warmth, patience, and other dog buddies in the home for her to be around with. After a few days in her foster home, she learned to walk through doors, so she can go between indoors and outdoors freely. While still a bit hesitant at times, she has been much more comfortable in her foster home and is fully engaging as a family member. She is still nervous of big sudden movements and yet she continues to seek affection and connection with her foster family. ‘Mia” has a big desire to trust, to love and be loved. She pays attention to the sounds around her. She is very endearing. She loves to play, and regularly creates piles of toys where she is nesting. She gets along well with other dogs. With time and training, she may well be a great hiking companion. She adores cuddling! She is 100% house trained, although she does not like or need a crate, she is happy sleeping anywhere there is a bed (her favorite place is to sleep beside her person). She has many adorable quirks - like making little squeaky sounds when she wants to play, or lifting her paw up to hold your hand. “Mia” is a very special girl who is just waiting for her family.
