Story
Found New Year's Eve by the side of the road while I was out running. His body language was friendly and he was far from houses so I encouraged him to follow me home. I have since bathed, vet checked, dewormed, flea and tick prevention, heartworm test and prevention as well as gotten him neutered and microchipped. I have also posted him all over local Facebook pages for lost and found pets as well as checked if he was reported missing at the county animal control. He's wonderful with my kids who are 13, 10, 8 and 3 and he has done well in our fenced yard and inside in a kennel at night. I don't know if he's fully house broken. He met my cat but only in a controlled way. He was great at Tractor Supply pet wash when I took him for a bath, does well riding in the car and at vet's office. He wants to be by my side at all times and listens well to my voice to stay near but needs a fenced yard so he doesn't end up lost again. He knows sit. He has been gentle in every interaction.

Story
Major is a very sweet dog. He is playful and he is high energy. He loves hugs and he loves cuddles. He is 3 years old and still have a lot of life left in him!! It breaks my heart that I dont have the time to spend with him that he needs. I travel for work a lot in this new position and he needs more attention than I can give him. He also needs plenty of space. I have a home with a medium size yard. But I have been told that he needs more space to run and play. I would really love for him to be able to live on a farm or somewhere that has a very large yard. And I am hoping someone who loves him will take him in!
