Story
Hallooo world. My name is HONNI (Honey), how do you do? Here is a bit of info about me:Breed: Australian Shepard/Canaan dog mixAge: 2 yrsGender: FemaleWeight: 20 kgHeight: tbdCountry of origin: LebanonHighlights: Loyal, Intelligent, Affectionate, Calm, Independent I am a faithful & chilled out girl, awaiting a family to adore and in which to bring joy. And don't you just love my unique markings?Rescuers heard me screaming and followed the sound. When they got closer, they saw a man hitting me with a wooden stick. I was crying out, desperate for help. My rescuers would not walk away from this ghastly cruel scene. Without hesitation, they came in and took me. People in the area were telling the man to either poison me or put me in a bag and throw me on the highway. Sadly, these are the horrors in my country.I had been through so much and I was terrified, but I somehow knew they were there to save me. Being I wS wearing a collar, showed I once had a home, but likely was abandoned. Life on the street was just as harsh, as my previous family.Despite everything though, I remain a sweet and friendly pup, so they named me Honey. You'll find me quite the intelligent pupper, as well as affectionate. I tend toward the calm and can be independent, so I should be able to entertain myself when you are busy. I hear something called a kong toy stuffed with peanut butter is a good distraction. SMILE. Some confidence building exercises should be included in my training regimen.Hoping we can enjoy some cuddles and adventures together. I await your calling my name. Additional vids: https://youtu.be/uzg8s0giP_0, https://youtu.be/gTdXiNHXEWY. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training: Some.Leash skills: Some. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: Some, as I am in a shelter environment. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests - which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis. ##2158697##

Hi, I'm Mitch and here is a bit about me:Breed: Australian shepherd/Husky mixAge: 3 monthsGender: MaleWeight: 8.5 lbsHeight: 11.5 inchesCountry of origin: MexicoHighlights: Sweet, snuggly, silly, and loving Hi, I want to share a bit about my cute self with you. I am a young pup, so I do have a moderate amount of energy and love to eat (bring on the treats!)My 7 brothers and sisters and I were discovered abandoned at a local high school. Unfortunately, we were in rough shape when we were found, but our rescuers took good care and brought us back to health and helped fatten me up (I was a bit too skinny for my liking!).I am ready and excited to be matched with a forever family. I can’t wait to shower them with love and all the cuddles. I am young dude who loves to play with humans and other pups. I have a real sense of humour, and think I’m pretty funny, if I do say so myself.Since I am so little I have not yet attended puppy school and don’t have much practice on a leash, but am ready to learn! I am house trained and will pee and poo on a puppy pad.I'm quite the loving, snuggly guy, so hope you are up for eyes peering lovunglupy up at you when I am in your arms. Story
Hi. My name is Marco and here is some info about me: Breed: Miniature Austrailian ShepherdAge: 2 YearGender: MaleWeight:15 lbHeight: 15 inch Highlight(s): Good with other dogs, people, Nervouse around men and needs slow introduction Hello there! My name is Marco, and I am a 2-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd. I may be small, but I have a heart full of love and a gentle, sweet nature. Let me tell you a bit about my journey. I was bought as a puppy by a family who wanted a guard dog. Unfortunately, they didn’t realize just how tiny I would be. When they saw that I wasn’t going to grow into a large protector, they abandoned me in front of a shelter. It broke my heart to see my family leave me behind, but I try to stay positive. I am grateful to have a roof over my head and a safe place to stay, especially since the streets where I come from are dangerous for little dogs like me. Life at the shelter has been okay. I’ve made some wonderful furry friends and I love the humans here. Their attention and affection make my days brighter. Sadly, my original dad was not the nicest guy and as a result, I can be a little bit nervouse around men and require slow introduction.I dream of having my very own forever family someday, one that will love and care for me as much as I will for them. I imagine myself with my own bed, squeaky toys, and going on fun walks and hikes. Running after a ball and meeting new friends sounds like the best adventure ever! I’m a smart boy who listens well and learns quickly. I love to impress my humans and have been told that I don’t show any aggression or resource guarding. I just want to spread happiness with doggie kisses and joyful tail wags. Please consider giving me a chance. I may be small, but I promise to fill your life with love and joy. My heart is big, and I’m ready to share it with my forever family. I can’t wait to meet you! Energy Level: high requires daily physical activities. I get along with:Dogs: yesCats: UnknownKids: unknown, rescuer states yes, but no video proof Fears: Unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.
