We are looking to rehome our sweet girl. She is a Texas Heeler and 8 months old. She has had her shots but is not fixed. Wonderful dog that we just have not had time to work with. Wondering if anyone would like to take her. We would love her to go to a good home. She does great with other dogs but has killed some of our chickens.

Story
“Susie Rein” was scheduled to be euthanized this week at Harris County Shelter. She is a volunteer favorite and we pulled her to give her more time for her second chance to find her forever family. She is super sweet with kids, dogs, & adults. She has learned to sit and stay and even wait within a week. She loves to be outside and will be best to live somewhere with plenty of room to run. Kelpies need two hours of exercise a day along with mental stimulation because they are active and smart. She is loyal and super soft and would love anyone who would love her. She lets me give her baths and pets and lays down beside me. She is desperate for a place where she can work her kelpie roots and would make an excellent addition to a family. She does not do well in crates due to her shelter background but she is a quick learner and would potty train easily. I’m working on that with her now. If you’re looking to SAVE a LIFE and have a loyal friend she is your girl. She deserves a home!
