Story
Currently in a Vancouver foster home 🐾 Hello, I’m Bombom — a gentle boy ready for a brand-new beginning. I’m a Welsh Corgi–Spitz mix boy, about 7.2kg, with a small but sturdy body and soft white fur that everyone notices right away. People say I have a cozy, comforting look — the kind that makes you want to smile when you see me. In February 2024, I was rescued from a place where dogs were being slaughtered. Three of us were saved that day… and I am one of the lucky ones. Because of where I came from, people worried I might be afraid of humans. But surprisingly, I’m not. I love people — truly. If you call my name, I’ll trot over with my tail wagging, hoping for affection. I enjoy attention and I have a sweet, gentle heart that just wants to be loved. I get along naturally with other dogs and have a calm, easygoing social nature. I’m also great on walks — steady, relaxed, and lovely to walk beside. Being outdoors with someone I trust feels peaceful and happy. I’m more than ready to be cared for, cherished, and loved. Now, I’m waiting for a forever family who can give me a safe, warm place to spend the rest of my life. Please give a new beginning to a soft-hearted boy like me — a boy with fur as white and gentle as his heart. 🤍🌿 With love, Bombom 🐶

QUICK FACTS Name: Dongdong Age: Estimated 2 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Corgi–Jindo mix Color: White Weight: 6.7 kg / 14.7lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was abandoned at the airport and wandered there for about a month, unable to leave the place where I was left behind. Now that I’m safe, I’m ready to start a new life with a loving family   MY HEALTH Feb 10, 2025: DHPP (Core vaccine) + Canine Coronavirus Feb 26, 2025: DHPP (Core vaccine) + Canine Coronavirus + Rabies Apr 9, 2025: DHPP (Core vaccine) + Kennel Cough + Canine Influenza Jun 1, 2025: DHPP (Core vaccine) + Kennel Cough + Canine Influenza Spayed & healthy with no known health issues     MY PERSONALITY Hello, I am Dongdong. I’m a bright and playful pup who gets along well with doggy friends I click with. I can be a little mischievous, so sometimes other dogs nip at me, but I’m always ready to make new friends!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly with treats and enjoy being petted. I can be gently picked up by placing an arm under my belly. Once I feel comfortable, I’ll happily show my belly for rubs. · With Dogs: I get along well with other dogs and like to greet and play, even with dogs I don’t know. I’m usually friendly with dogs of a similar size. However, I can get jealous of other dogs, so I would do best as an only dog in my new home. · With Cats: I haven’t had any interactions with cats yet, so my reaction to them is unknown.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a normal energy level and enjoy outdoor activities, but I relax calmly afterward. I have plenty of experience on walks, and I follow my human well without pulling on the leash.   TRAINING & HABITS I bark when I see strangers. I stay calm when I’m in a crate. I use both indoor pads and outdoor areas for going to the bathroom.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m a small and adorable pup who needs a patient family to help me fully adjust. I warm up quickly to people with treats, even if I’m shy at first. While I can get along with big dogs, I tend to do better as an only dog. My perfect home would be calm and loving, where I can feel safe and gradually build confidence.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a small and adorable pup. I tend to run away from strangers and don’t always let them touch me, but I can’t resist treats, so I warm up quickly. I’m a level 2 rescue dog, so I’ll need some time and patience to fully adjust to my new home. I get along with big dogs, though I can sometimes be a bit pushy and unaware of my own strength.   Dongdong's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2609458##

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Romang Age: 3 years old Gender: Female (Neutered) Breed: Welsh Corgi Color: Merle (white, brown, black with gray spots) Weight: 9kg / 20lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, after being found alone and abandoned. The shelter was overcrowded, but kind humans stepped in just in time to save me. I’m now safe, cared for, and hoping to find my forever home where I can finally settle in and be loved.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a sweet and curious girl with all the charm of a true corgi! I absolutely adore people and get so excited whenever the care staff visit—I show my love with gentle little nips on their ankles, just to say “hey, I’m happy to see you!” I get along well with other dogs too, and I’m loyal to my crew—I’ll step in to support my friends if they’re having a disagreement, though I quickly calm down when staff or volunteers intervene. I love exploring and observing my surroundings—one of my favorite pastimes is looking through the fence at the care facility, watching cars, people, and other dogs go by. I can be vocal, especially if other dogs bark at me, and yes, my voice is as big and bold as any true corgi’s!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely adore people and love being the center of attention! I enjoy snuggling in your arms, soaking up pets, and just being near my humans. While I haven’t had much experience with kids yet, my friendly nature means I’d likely do well with dog-savvy children. I’m comfortable being picked up and love feeling safe and secure, and once I trust you, I’ll even roll over to show my belly as a special sign of affection. · With Dogs: I get along well with my dog friends and love meeting new friends! I usually do best with larger dogs and am generally friendly and social, but I’m also a loyal companion. If another dog is being rude to my friends or me, I won’t back down, so thoughtful introductions and careful management are important when meeting new dogs. With patience and guidance, I thrive in a happy, well-balanced pack! · With Cats: My reaction to cats is currently unknown, but a cat test can be arranged upon request to help ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level and really enjoy a bit of outdoor time to run, explore, and stretch my legs. I love discovering new sights and smells, and nothing makes me happier than a little adventure followed by some cozy downtime.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food with people or other dogs and generally have a calm, easygoing temperament. I can give a little bark when I meet new people or want attention—not too much, but enough to show my personality, as you might expect from a corgi! In new environments, I might mark a little, but I’m very trainable. I walk well on leash, follow my handler’s lead, and am highly responsive to my name and recall, making me a smart and reliable companion.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself, and a stable environment. A family that enjoys outdoor & indoor time together. A family that will love and cherish me forever. Ideally, I’d love a family who understands corgi personalities and has experience with corgis—people who appreciate my playful energy, loyalty, and charming quirks.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m considered a level 1 rescue dog, which means I will settle in quickly with my new family, taking just a few days to feel comfortable. I’m super friendly with people and dogs, and I come with that irresistible corgi charm! I’m goofy, curious, and full of personality—I promise I’ll make you smile and laugh with my playful silliness. I have a big appetite and am very eager to learn, making training easy and fun. I respond well to my name and recall easily. That said, during my early days in a new home, it’s important that I’m double-leashed with both a harness and collar and have a GPS tracker when outside, to keep me safe until I’m fully settled and confident with my new family.   Romang's YouTube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2612555##
