Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 9/21/2024 Estimated Date of Birth: 1/31/24 Dog Name: Paul Sex: Male Estimated Breed Mix: Standard Poodle Mix Approximate Age: 1 Year Approximate Weight: 40-45 lbs Adoption Fee: $750 Description: Paul was found as a stray absolutely matted and covered in painful stickers down to his skin with his suspected sisters Holly & Ginger. He is so sweet and loving, he is begging for a second chance and hoping his forever family is in Wisconsin! He is a beautiful dog who had to be shaved to regrow her coat due to neglect. Paul also had to have eye surgery due to entropion and serious infection near the eye which penetrated to his two molars underneath that also had to be removed. Such a short life full of suffering and pain, we are determined to give him a good life! Despite all he has been through, his eye is healing wonderfully and he's no longer in pain!   He's currently settling into his foster home and his eye is continuing to heal. Crate training and walking on a harness are going great! We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are 6 months to 1 year or age. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days.  at one of our preferred clinics. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. September 26, 2024, 6:56 pm
