Makayla arrives in Wisconsin on April 12th. Makayla is a gorgeous, goofy girl who looks adorable with a short cut or a fluffier look. When she arrived in her Texas foster home, she had a grooming session to help remove matts. She is happy to have a fresh start and clean cut. Her adopter will need to schedule regular grooming sessions. She lives with many other dogs in her foster home and does great with them all. Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Meet Daniel 🤍 Daniel is a young Goldendoodle with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. He came to us from MADACC after being found as a stray in heartbreaking condition, severely matted and covered in urine and feces. It’s clear he hadn’t known much comfort or care before. But despite everything he’s been through, Daniel has remained nothing but gentle, kind, and trusting. Since arriving, Daniel got the full glow-up he deserved; a much-needed groom that quite literally helped him feel like a brand new man. And with that fresh start, his personality has started to shine. He’s a soft, easygoing guy who enjoys being near his people, with just the right amount of playful energy to keep you smiling. Daniel appears to do well with other dogs, has been good with cats, and we anticipate he would do well with kids given slow, respectful introductions. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be loved and included. As a Goldendoodle, Daniel will require lifelong coat maintenance. Regular grooming is a must to keep him comfortable and healthy, so his future family should be prepared for that commitment. *Daniel is currently available for foster-to-adopt to a family located within 30 minutes of the shelter while he awaits his neuter procedure. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Teddy is the cutest puppy we have ever seen! He's a tiny little chaos bear - full on teething and the typical puppy high energy...he adores wrestling with his foster siblings - his best friend is a 50lb pit bull mix (also up for adoption!). Teddy requires a home with other dogs in it. He is fine with children though no babies as he is so small that rough hands can hurt him easily. He is still working on housetraining so please dont apply if youre not willing to housebreak him. Teddy is fostered in Hoston TX and will not be transported until adopted. His adoption fee is $850 (plus transit if not local). In order to be considered as his new paw-rents, you must fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. Inquiries to this ad alone will not receive a response due to high volume and low follow though by adopters.
