Chestnut Standard Poodle Male Silver Beige 3 years old 55 lbs Meet CHESTNUT, the sweet and loving standard poodle! This calm, house-trained boy has a passion for chasing balls and would thrive in a home where he can run and play to his heart’s content. Chestnut gets along great with other dogs and seems to do well with children too. While he may need a little time to warm up to new people, once he does, he loves scratches and belly rubs. Chestnut is gentle when taking treats from your hand, walks well on a leash, and already knows how to sit and lie down on command. He’s also crate-trained, which makes life a little easier! One of Chestnut’s most endearing traits? His adorable pose when he crosses his front legs—such a charmer! Easygoing and affectionate, Chestnut is ready to bring joy and companionship to his forever home. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to complete your family, Chestnut might just be your perfect match! Story
Meet Ramen the Noodle Doodle, a friendly 9-month-old golden doodle looking for a loving home. Ramen is well-socialized and housebroken. He has mostly outgrown his chewing phase and does well when left alone outside of the crate for short periods of time. He enjoys walks, hikes, and playing with other dogs. He's also not interested in chasing cats. Ramen is affectionate, food-motivated, and easy to train. He loves playing fetch and will keep you entertained with his funny and awkward moments. He is also learning basic commands like sit, stay, and down. Ramen is also learning not to pull on the leash and wants you to know that he improves every day. Although he has a great personality, Ramen still needs some training. He is working on not jumping on humans, countersurfing, and respecting boundaries. He is not suitable for a home with young children unless the parents have a history of animal training. Once his foster feels like he has mastered his puppy manners, he will do wonderfully with little kids, just not right now. Ideally, Ramen would thrive in a home where someone is present most of the day or with multiple people in the house. And while Ramen is great with dogs his excitability and lack of body awareness may overwhelm small dogs due to being a large puppy. Ramen doesn't require a fenced yard but would benefit from a dog park, long walks, hikes, or a space to play fetch. He may experience anxiety when left alone for long periods and is still getting used to being professionally groomed. Ramen is the sweetest doodle with so much love to give! He is energetic, has silly moments, and is just a ray of sunshine. Overall, he is a good boy with typical puppy energy. The adoption fee for this puppy is $425, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. A $250 spay/neuter deposit is required at time of adoption. This fee covers spay/neuter at one of PetConnect's preferred veterinary partners. If the adopter chooses to use their own veterinarian, the deposit will be returned with proof of sterilization. Story
Hi my name is Binkley.  I am a super sweet 7 year old standard poodle.  I am only in rescue because my mom died and then not too long after that so did my dad.  My foster mom was my mom's close friend and she took me in.  I am a wonderful guy who loves people.  I put my head under your hand to be petted and will stand there as long as you keep petting me.  I do jump on you though when i get excited so I am not a candidate for a family with small children.  I am working on this but when I get excited I forget.  I am an active guy who just loves to prance around.  I like to pretend that I am at the dog show prancing for the judge in hopes of winning.  I love to play and am good with dogs of all sizes.  My best friend in my foster home is a husky mix.  We have the best time running and playing.  I am careful around the smaller ones and sometimes run around with them too.  I really do need a fenced in yard and it would be nice if I had a doggie companion as I really enjoy the company.  I do not have a high prey drive so you don't have to worry about that.  My ideal family would be an active family that will make sure I get the exercise I need and who will spend lots of time with me.  I have been neutered and am current on all my shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative.  To be considered for my forever family and to request an application please contact Miss Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Binkley is in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)October 16, 2024, 10:05 pm

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13903Hi! My name is Jack and I came to OPH on 10/05/24. I’m an adult standard poodle mix weighing about 40lbs (but I need to gain a few pounds). I recently had surgery to repair a broken leg from getting hit by a car. I have recovered beautifully and the vet says I am finally off of crate rest! I am a VERY active dog and now that I'm all better I love to run and play. Would do best in a home with a fenced in yard or with a family that likes to talk power walks several times a day. Some things you need to know about poodles. *Poodles shed minimally, making them a good choice if allergies are a concern. *Poodles need a more intensive grooming regimen. If not groomed regularly their coats will get matted up. *Poodles are a smart, energetic, friendly breed that makes a solid choice for a family pet. *Poodles love to be around other people and would be happiest in an active household.*Poodles need exercise daily. If you enjoy running or taking long walks, a Poodle might be the perfect companion to join you.Apply to adopt me today! This package of smarts and cuteness won’t be available for long!
