Story
Bronson is a stunning young pup with a one-of-a-kind brindle coat—he must have gotten those gorgeous markings from his dad! His mom was a mix of Standard Poodle and Airedale, giving him a slightly rough coat, soulful eyes, and a sharp mind to match his good looks. This smart boy was born around Oct.1, 2024 and  is already making great progress with crate and potty training, thanks to his foster mom’s dedication. He’s highly intelligent and eager to learn, especially when treats and toys are involved! Bronson has already mastered “sit” and is well on his way to being a well-mannered companion. Friendly and affectionate, Bronson gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and trainable pup, Bronson is ready to be your new best friend! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143. This boy is what is just going to be a sixty to seventy pound handsome adult. If you would like to adopt or know more about him, please conta Critter Cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 12, 2025, 9:47 pm

Story
Brandon is a handsome 5 month old bundle of love with a stunning brindle coat that he must have inherited from his dad! His mom was a unique mix of half Standard Poodle and half Airedale, so Brandon is destined to grow into a big, lovable boy that could weigh 60 pounds. With his lovingly sweet personality, Brandon is the total puppy package! His foster mom has been working hard on his crate training and potty training, and he’s already mastered “sit.” He’s great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a perfect fit for just about any type of family.  Brandon would love an active family that could provide him a fenced yard where Brandon can safely play. He would also embrace having  another canine companion in the family or active children or family members that will take him for good walks, jogs and a life filled with fun adventures. Brandon would be a great social butterfly out in the community and neighborhood. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate pup with a heart of gold (and a golden coat to match!), Brandon might just be your perfect match!   Please write to critter cavalry rescue, at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested!  Let us know where you live as well.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 13, 2025, 8:04 pm

Story
We adopted Coco from a breeder when he was 3 months old. He is currently 3 years old. He is a typical poodle in his mannerisms. He loves to play, go for walks and runs. He loves to be near his people to lay at their feet and receive a few pats. He is on a special dog food as he was allergic to his last one, but is doing well with the new one and is back to normal with no issues. We are looking to find a home where he can be loved and get more attention as I just took a new job that doesn't allow me to be at home.

Story
Meet Zilla !! This girl is the sweetest thing ever. She’s going to be a big girl. If you are looking for a large size poodle mix to share your life with then here she is!! Zilla is a 5-month-old, Poodle and St. Bernard mix. Yup you saw that right, no idea why they have to “doodle” every breed… But we love her anyway. She already weighs 35 Pounds. He mom is a standard poodle and weighs 65 pounds. Dad is a St. Bernard and Poodle mix and he weighs 110 pounds. We don’t know how big she will get but I would guess at least 60 pounds or more. SHE IS NOT HYPOALLERGENIC. Simply mixing poodle with things does not do that as the doodle trend claims. With that said she does not shed much compared to a regular dog. Zilla will be spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped as part of her adoption. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventions. We just had her groomed. She is very affectionate and sweet. She can be a little shy at first and then she is all about any attention you will give her. She soaks up all the love and is learning her new foster home and routine quickly. She has done really well with other dogs of all sizes. She loves to play with them and chase them around. She has done so well with a wide variety of other dogs she has met. Puppies, adults, and seniors of all sizes. She just loves her doggie friends. We have not seen her around cats so we are unsure how she would do. Zilla has been great with all of the kids she has met. She loves them and does well with them. She is still jumping up on people and kids but is fairly gentle about it. This should be considered if you have young or small children. We do think she would adjust and learn with proper exposure and training. Despite her size she is still just a baby. Keeping that in mind she is doing really well with her training. Zilla is doing well with crate trained. She does still have some potty accidents if left to long. She overall does well with potty training for her age as long as you are diligent about taking her out regularly. She is great on car rides and just lays down on the back seat. She is doing well with leash training. She will sometimes get scared and try to pull away but is doing better each day. So far she has a medium to high energy level. She has a very energetic and busy side to her. She will need lots of mental and physical energy in her new home to keep her happy and well behaved. Poodles are typically higher energy dogs so plan to exercise each and every day more than once. She is very cuddly and loving as well but that is after all that energy is released. Zilla has not had any issues sharing food, treats, or toys with people or other animals. She listens very well and seems to be a smart girl. Overall she is a really well rounded and wonderful puppy. She has a great personality and is very loving. She would make a great new addition to an active family willing to put in a little more work to perfect her puppy training. When you have a puppy with the potential to grow to a large dog it is important to prioritize training so you wont end up with an 80 pound wild dog on your hands. How a puppy turns out is 100% on your family and the effort you put in to training when they are young. She has so much potential with the right guidance. ♦️She will need regular grooming. This requires time to get her to and from the appointments and additional expenses to pay for it. On average a dog of this breed will need grooming every 6 weeks. This should be fully considered prior to applying to adopt her.♦️ Vet and home checks required. Fenced yard preferred due to size and energy level Located in Hampton VA. (She will need to be adopted within a 1 hour drive radius) ‼️Please message us directly at VillageDogResource@gmail.com with questions or to get an application.‼️
