But with proper medical care, good nutrition, and lots of love, this sweet girl is truly coming back to life! Marlee is remarkably sweet and easygoing. She's really chill, doesn’t bark much, and doesn’t get ruffled easily. She enjoys getting frisky and engaging in playful tussles with her foster siblings. Playing ball, running around the yard, and traveling are some of her favorite activities. She rides well and recently went on a trip to the woods with her clan, thoroughly enjoying exploring the new environment. Marlee would do well in a home with a canine companion. Her low energy needs make her a great fit for anyone who would enjoy a peaceful pup. Despite her past experiences, she has not been crated and has done well in learning to potty outside. While Marlee isn't particularly fond of leash walking, she has had a yard for exercise and did fine on a leash while traveling. River-Poodle/Saint Bernard male, DOB 3-2-22 (Aug. 2024) Please contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application River came to Rescue when his owner realized he could not meet his needs. He had bought him from a breeder/Puppy Mill when River was 1 ½ yr. old....and didn't realize the commitment to owning a dog. River needs an experienced owner, someone who will take the time to introduce him to the world and the joy it can bring him. He's good with other dogs and cats. Children have not been a part of his life, so they do make him nervous at this time. He's a big boy, with his breeding, about 100#. He knows how to walk on the leash but is lower energy and is very content to hang out at home. River is now in foster care with a Trainer and learning every day. He's ready to find his new home and family. River's adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com . Rocky-Poodle/Golden male, ~ 2 1/2-3 yr. (Aug. 2024) Please contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application Rocky came to Rescue when saved from a bad situation in a Puppy Mill. A Trainer rescued him and he's been spending some time in a Prison Training Program, while getting ready for adoption. He's good with other dogs . Children and cats have not been a part of his life, so are an unknown. He's a medium sized boy, with his breeding, about 55#. He knows many things now, including basic commands. He walks fairly well on the leash and has good husbandry skills. He is house trained and crate trained. He's ready to find his new home and family.
