This sweet, handsome fella was roaming the city and county for a few months and no one could catch him. We were called in to help and within a few hours he was safe in our care thanks to a citizen helping man the traps. He is very sweet, friendly and loving but he definitely has a checkered past. He does not like to be left alone for too long and will cry like a baby. Like many dogs here in TN he was neglected to the point where he lost trust in humans. He has now learned that there are some really great humans and so he wants to be with you. He does like to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with another dog or 2 that are friendly and playful. He gets along with cats as well. He is also very young (we can only guess) so he needs an active family. He loves water, going for walks and is a great car rider. He does great with kids too. I think he would love a big, fun family to smother him with love and attention. He will need an adopter willing to work with his separation anxiety and help him get over that(there are lots of free resources). He is a Poodle, not sure if he is pure or a mix but he is going to require regular grooming. He is a high maintenance guy looking for the perfect home to meet his needs. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Her foster mom says she is wonderful in the house, is learning all about crate training, and is enjoying playing with other dogs in the household. Growing fast, she is now becoming more vocal as she plays, but still loves sitting on a lap for lots of affection. She has sharp puppy teeth, and needs the guidance and instruction that all young pups need.    PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA.
