This confident, spunky girl is ready to leap into her next adventure—preferably with an active human by her side and a backyard made for zoomies.Darcy is house and crate trained, has no issues meeting new people, and shows no signs of food or resource guarding. She’s fearless, affectionate, and smart—though she sometimes chooses not to use her listening skills when excitement takes over. She thrives in environments where her energy is matched with love, structure, and lots of playtime.She gets along well with larger dogs who can handle her enthusiasm and play style, but tiny dogs and cats? Not so much—Darcy loves to chase, and she doesn’t always know her own strength. For this reason, a home without small pets and with no young children is a must. Older kids who can handle a little paw action and aren’t easily knocked over would be fine.A securely fenced yard is non-negotiable for this lively girl. Stark is currently being fostered for us by his owner, but the dog does not like toddlers (they have 2 and he chases cats and chickens) So she needs to get him either adopted or into another foster home ASAP. Stark is super sweet and curious with all adults. He loves to ride in a car, he loves to play in water, loves walks...and he sits to wait for his food. Stark just need a calmer environment to live in, with less stimulation as far as cats and chickens and more mental stimulation. He needs to play with interactive toys for his food or treats (he loves that ) and would likely benefit from being introduced to word buttons, in which animals learn to communicate with humans. Being a poodle, he likes to overthink everything, so giving him something to actually think about is good! Stark's best home would be a person with no children in the home, who has a quiet home and could take him on walks around the neighbor hood, who could play with him at home with interactive toys, and who would understand the poodle's nature. An experienced poodle owner would be great but not a necessity. Stark is housetrained, up to date on all vaccines and microchipped.
