Richard Arlo is a 1-year-old, 47 pound, white and brown, poodle who joined us from Lockhart Animal shelter. This playful and sweet pup is great with other dogs, though he does require slow introductions to ensure a smooth transition. Richard is potty trained and currently working on his leash training, making strides every day. Due to his size and exuberant nature, Richard would do best in a home with older children, as he doesn't always realize his own strength. He's a lively and affectionate dog who will thrive in an active household where he can get plenty of exercise and attention. Richard has shown us just how much he enjoys running in the yard but he has also shown us just how much he likes to jump short fences. He will need a tall fenced yard as the shorter ones he can jump over. If you're looking for a big-hearted, energetic companion, Richard Arlo might just be the perfect fit for you! Pumba came to CAMO as an owner surrender and is a wonderful, if somewhat reserved, 2-year-old Poodle mix. At 47 pounds, she has a high prey drive and should be in a home without birds or small animals. Pumba Mei gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a home with older children who understand her size and demeanor. Initially shy and timid, she warms up quickly once trust is established. She is currently working on potty and leash training but is already crate trained. Pumba Mei tends to be more cautious around men but is a loving and loyal companion once she feels secure. Pumba tested hw positive and was treated with 30 days of doxy and given a proheart 12 shot. With a sweet disposition, Mocha is initially shy and timid at first but becomes a loyal and loving companion once trust is established. She has a high prey drive and would be best suited to a home without birds or small animals. Mocha does well with other dogs and would thrive in a household with older children due to her size and demeanor. She is currently working on potty and leash training, and with a bit of patience and consistency, she'll continue to make great strides. She has also gotten a proheart 12 injection on 10/21 and will not need heartworm prevention for a year. Boo James just wants to love and play. Since coming to the rescue, we've been working on crate training, leash training, and potty training. He has made great strides in all areas! He is very dog friendly, but is still learning manners so will need a slow introduction with other doggos. He's okay with kids, but due to his energy, puppy-ness, and size, I wouldn't recommend any small children. He has not seen a cat in our care, so we do not know about that.
