Story
Our beloved 7-year-old Double Doodle, Jett, is a 50-pound bundle of joy who has been a cherished member of our family. He is incredibly submissive, sweet-natured, and thrives on being around people, especially children, whom he adores. His gentle demeanor makes him a perfect companion for kids, and he loves nothing more than being near his favorite humans whenever possible. He also shares a special bond with our family cat, often snuggling up or playing gently together. While heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s not a barker, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s alert and will let us know if someone is at the door or if a stranger is nearby, making him a reliable watchdog without being overly vocal. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a well-behaved and biddable dog, always eager to please. Crate-trained and leash-trained, he knows basic commands like sit and shake and even climbs into the bathtub willingly for his baths. He enjoys daily walks and playing in the yard, but heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s also calm and well-mannered when the situation calls for it. At home, he has a quirky habit of sleeping under tables or cars, finding comfort in cozy, sheltered spots. His hypoallergenic coat is a blessingâ&#194&#128&#194&#148no shedding, everâ&#194&#128&#194&#148but it does require grooming every 6 weeks to keep him looking his best. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and has been lovingly cared for throughout his life. Despite his wonderful personality and deep bond with our family, his allergies and need to spend more time indoors have become challenging for us to manage sustainably. He requires a monthly allergy shot to manage his skin allergies, and he does best when heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s inside more than outdoors to minimize exposure to allergens. Itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a difficult decision, but we want whatâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s best for him, and we know heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d thrive in a home where his needs can be fully met. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s an incredibly loving, loyal, and easygoing dog who would make a wonderful addition to any family lucky enough to have him.
